@WhistleBlowerDK Do you think he went for the shirt and let go the second he realised it wasn't?
(correct decision under current law) just an observation.
@Keir_Starmer This was awful, and screamed i'm not listening. Youth you are wrong, SEN you are wrong.
Now answering pre-scripted questions. We need someone to listen.
@HoodedClaw1974 He's not listened in anyway, the comment on Youth, Labours choices have made it imporssible to employ the youth and to take a chance in business. Blocking there growth with their own policies.
The problem is @TheIFAB aren't in touch with the fans and are creating a sterile game. 40 years ago you might have got a foul 30 years ago you might have got a yellow, 20 years a yellow, 10 years ago a yellow maybe a red, and now we're saying red.
It's all about playing with less than 22 players now people desperate for red cards.
IFAB want every league playing the same football, without cut and thrust and rivalries. Handball law a load of **** it was fine with the word intentional.
Maybe I'm sentimental around the battles that used to happen refs keeping 22 on the pitch unless there was no choice. The 4 step rule to a yellow. #sentimental it was a far better game
I'm glad he didn't show a red, ( we know LOTG), however in football terms @TheIFAB are so far removed from real football, two yellows for adopting an aggressive attitude and get on with it. The Monday night hair pull/ shirt grab is not football. We need games where battles are all over the pitch. I hope real fans agree.
@WhistleBlowerDK I was taught to look at a funnel, from the goal posts and then going wider to the half way, anything outside was yellow. It was years ago now, but it's always worked.
Did you know, referees could tell players "no more" they could bring captains in and tell them if player x does one more he's carded. It's a contact sport.
Fans, Pundits, everyone thinks every tackle is a card, we need to get back to that.

@WhistleBlowerDK This sets up the Man City "agreed" punishment nicely.
Everything can then be put to bed nicely, just in time for new regislation with clearer punishable guidelines.
@no1lino@TheIFAB@FA_PGMOL Not saying you didn't have scrutiny, and it's a horrible situation to be in that shouldn't happen because of who and what you do.
I realise there is no real debating you, I've never met a perfect official and don't believe I will, you hate who you hate, and won't change.
With far less scrutiny in the public eye, I know you don't agree with that, but your days don't compare with today's, and how many in your day were wrong but technology wasn't around to say it was?
To support your argument in one area your scrutiny was Keith, your peers, and accountability was present.
However your era had something about you, it had a presecence, refs were allowed a laugh and you could give as good as you got, players are different today. What would I prefer in today's game, your group of officials but I also want yesterday's technology involved. Goal line, comms and buzzer flags.
I know that sounds like I'm stuck in the past, but the game as a whole was better back then. In my opinion of course. Somenthings I will agree but some I won't but it's good to debate ๐
@no1lino Poor VAR. I'm with Keith on the need for an independent group. Although I like the appeals system, I think it will add to the game. However @TheIFAB are increasing it's use ๐
@pizzapat246 It's hard to explain from stills, they suit the fans narrative.
If two people are fouling at the same time, from opposing teams who gets the FK / PK?
Referee haters out in force today, completely blown up by the click bait brigade pushing incidents that weren't.
This weekend it is official every team that dropped points it was because of the referee, and every team that got maximum points it was because of the players.
