Chandigarh से सटे नयागांव में शहीद भगत सिंह चौक के पास MC के कर्मचारियों ने 10 फीट का गड्ढा खोदा लेकिन न साइन बोर्ड लगाया, न उसे भरा। बारिश में पानी भर गया।

एक महिला और 14 साल का स्कूल जाने वाला बच्चा इसमें गिर गए। जान जाते-जाते बची।

इस घोर लापरवाही के लिए एरिया के जेई, एसडीई और एक्सईन को तत्काल सस्पेंड करना चाहिए। इन��ी नजर में इंसान की जान की कोई कीमत नहीं है।

पंजाब स्टेट ह्यूमन राइट्स कमीशन ने भी इसका संज्ञान लिया है।
