A relative lull in violence, and as the state increasingly comes under the scrutiny of the people, and correspondingly the confrontation between citizens and police/security agencies becomes more palpable, then comes the video...along with some Kuki elites indulging in despicable whataboutery and some even mocking it as 'honour killing' by Meiteis themselves!!
