Father and Daughter Forcibly Disappeared in Khuzda.

On the night of August 5, at around 10:00 PM, Abdul Qadoos Zarakzai and his daughter Aqsa were reportedly forcibly disappeared from Civil Colony, Khuzdar, by state forces. Baloch Voice for Justice strongly condemns their enforced disappearance and calls on human rights organizations and all people of conscience to raise their voices for their safe and immediate recovery.

A father and his daughter should never disappear into silence. Their whereabouts must be disclosed, and they must be safely returned to their family. Silence is not an option when lives and freedom are at stake.

The enforced disappearance of Baloch students has become a persistent pattern that reflects a policy of collective punishment rather than isolated incidents. Young people who leave their homes to pursue education are being turned into targets. From university campuses to hostels and private residences, Baloch students continue to face the constant threat of arbitrary detention and enforced disappearance.

The repeated targeting of Baloch students, coupled with the absence of accountability, has created a climate of impunity.This practice inflicts collective punishment on an entire community. It deprives families of answers, disrupts education, and creates lasting psychological trauma for students who are forced to live under the shadow of enforced disappearance.

Human rights organizations, United Nations human rights mechanism committed to upholding international law must take urgent and coordinated action to demand accountability, and secure the immediate and unconditional release of all forcibly disappeared students. The protection of students, the right to education, and freedom from enforced disappearance are fundamental human rights that must be upheld without exception.

Silence only strengthens impunity and places countless more Baloch Students at risk.

The Baloch Women Forum strongly condemns the enforced disappearance of Rafia Baloch, Tania Baloch and Javeria Baloch, three female members of BNP leader Jumma Khan Baloch’s family, who were forcibly disappeared by the security forces. The deliberate targeting of women marks a deeply disturbing escalation of violence in Balochistan. Enforced disappearances have increasingly become a weapon used against Baloch women, shattering families and spreading fear throughout entire communities. Every new case demonstrates how these grave human rights violations are being normalized under complete impunity.

The enforced disappearance of Baloch women was once presented as an exception, today it has become a recurring reality. From previously disappeared Baloch women to the latest abduction of Rafia, Tania and Javeria, the pattern is unmistakable. The normalization of these crimes is a stain on the conscience of every institution that continues to remain silent. Baloch women are not bargaining chips, nor should they ever be subjected to collective punishment for political purposes. This systematic targeting is inhumane, unlawful and an assault on the dignity of the entire Baloch nation.

The Baloch Women Forum refuses to remain silent while Baloch women continue to disappear. We will raise our voices at every national and international forum until these crimes end and those responsible are held accountable. We condemn this inhumane act in the strongest possible terms and call upon the international community, human rights mechanisms and defenders of justice to break their silence and act before the enforced disappearance of Baloch women becomes fully normalized.
