10th February 2026 - UN Human Rights Chief @Volker_Turk has called for urgent de-escalation in #Tigray as clashes between ENDF and Tigray forces intensify. Drones, artillery, and other heavy weapons have reportedly been used, with civilians once again caught in the middle and facing arrests and insecurity. More than 1 million people remain internally displaced from the previous war. Türk urges political dialogue and confidence-building, not a return to armed conflict.
