#EBRF press release about the current situation in Tigray and Northern Ethiopia from Addis Ababa
#EBRF condemn Eritrean regime interference in Ethiopian affairs; the survival alliance is basically a proxy for Isaias Afwereki’s ambition to destabilize Ethiopia
#EBRF encourage all Ethiopian parties to engage in peaceful discourse to solve internal disagreements, and not fall victim to the conspiracies of external actors, especially the Eritrean regime

The #Hgdef regime has begun forcibly evicting mothers and children from their homes in Segeneyti and surrounding villages. In addition to the evictions, the regime is confiscating property by force. Although this is not the first time such events have conspired in #Eritrea, these actions are a direct strategy aimed at capturing men who are in hiding to avoid forced military conscription. Since many of these men have fled to remote rural areas, regime officials are now using hunger as a weapon — pressuring families to cut off all support. Relatives/ countrymen are being threatened or punished if they attempt to deliver food or basic necessities, in an effort to drive the men back to the villages where they can be identified and detained.
#Eritrean state media may be preaching “peace” and renewed alliance with our northern neighbor #Tigray, but mark my words: #IsaiasAfwerki has a different agenda for the Horn of Africa. In his 34 years of absolute power, he has never delivered peace — and he’s not about to start now. #DIA MUST GO.

This is one example of how our people are treated by the dictatorial government in #Eritrea. If the internet were allowed, we would certainly see even more brutal acts of violence against women in the country.

The so-called "alliance" between the Eritrean regime and elements within the TPLF leadership—as well as factions within the Tigray Defense Forces—has never had any tangible objective beyond granting the Eritrean dictator peace of mind by turning Tigray into the principal battlefield.
The much-hyped relationship that the reactionary group in Tigray has invested immense time and energy into is contingent upon several preconditions laid down by their senior partners in Eritrea: no moves whatsoever toward reclaiming Western Tigray (so as not to provoke Fano); no discussion of Tigray's potential statehood; full acceptance of the Algiers Agreement; and the provision of military-age recruits to be trained by the Eritrean regime. "Comrade" Isaias has made it abundantly clear to diplomats that he has no interest in making any sacrifice for "the leaders of Woyane," underscoring his contempt for his junior partners in this futile client-patron arrangement. In truth, I believe Isaias—seasoned in the art of power preservation—has made the rational choice. He knows precisely where his interests lie.
At this moment, the reactionary clique finds itself mired in a grave crisis of its own making. In a paradoxical bid to escape that crisis, it now seeks to create another—by launching military operations in the Southern and Southeastern Zones in an attempt to seize power by force. At a time when the rainy season is in full swing—and when every ounce of energy should be directed toward the pursuit of peace—the clique has instead opted for war against our people as its supposed solution. Tragically, this is the only strategy it appears capable of.
The foreseeable and forewarned outcome of this unholy alliance—between the Eritrean regime and the reactionary faction within the TPLF, aided by enablers within the Tigray Armed Forces—is the renewed declaration of war on our people. This destructive path must be rejected by every Tigrayan.
Responsibility for the consequences lies squarely with the reactionary clique, senior military leaders, and above all, the President of the Interim Administration.
Dictator Isaias was not in a mood to talk about anything that has to do domestic. He very well knows all he has produced is prison cells, wars and refugees.
Physically in poor condition and his stuttering speech are all signs of his downfall isn’t too far.
#Eritrea 🇪🇷: New #HRC59 report by UN Special Rapporteur Mohamed Abdelsalam Babiker sounds the alarm on the further deteriorating #HumanRights situation in Eritrea as well as situation of Eritrean #refugees & #asylum-seekers regionally & globally.

I would like to congratulate President-elect @realDonaldTrump.
On behalf of Eritrean pro-democracy advocates who resist the tyranny of #IsaiasAfwerki’s regime day and night, both in Eritrea and abroad, we express our admiration for American democracy and the rule of law—values we aspire to replicate in our own country, #Eritrea.
We encourage your new administration to pay close attention to the #TransnationalRepression carried out by the Eritrean regime, particularly on American soil and against American citizens.
Under the #PFDJ regime, Eritrea has become an open-air prison. It is up to us, the Eritrean people, to free ourselves. However, America can play a pivotal role in achieving lasting peace in the Horn of Africa.
The #PFDJ’s repression extends beyond Eritrea’s borders. Through its supporters, the regime intimidates the #Eritrean diaspora. Using entities like #EAGS, this transnational repression exploits legal systems in democratic countries to silence dissidents https://t.co/V8NI9et0Te
It's trying times for host countries' democracies when faced w/challenges to accommodate a war propaganda festival to sponsor & honor #TransnationalRepression that continues to oppress the citizens of #Eritrea who fled to seek refuge from #PFDJ regime. Act now & 🛑 killing of 🇪🇷!
USA terrorism Alert! This guy brandishing a knife to slaughter Eritrean Justice seekers is a terrorist. In this graphic video, he is calling his followers to commit heinous crimes and terrorism. This guy lives in Dallas, Texas. He claimed an asylum in the United States, and now he is supporting the Eritrean regime. We Eritrean justice seekers call the US government to detain and deport him.
