Last weekend I had the honor to preside the 23rd Cardiology Congress of Brasília. With an outstanding teamwork, the event exceeded all expectations. A massive participation and high technical level showed the strength of our Cardiology community in the capital of Brazil.

Went to an endocrinologist in 🇧🇷 Brazil today to get my blood work interpreted

🔬 Preventative healthcare is quite common in Brazil and they have private clinics that focus on "integrated" healthcare where they consider your whole body and mind to improve your health

They first suggest nutrition, exercise, only then supplementation, and only at a last resort medication!

🏥 Opposite of what you get these days at a hospital: a rushed specialist doctor that has no idea about the rest of your body or mind and that instantly prescribes you pills

This doctor, an endocrinologist, interpreted my biomarkers and saw where they could be improved and then suggested a boost of supplementation via IV and injection first to get them to good base levels, so we did that immediately:

💦 IV:
- 2 ampoules of iron (for ferritine)
- 5 ampoules of Q10
- 1 bottle of Vit C
- 2 ampoules of B12
- 1 bottle of B Complex

💉
- 1 ampoule of Vit D in my butt 😁

And in one week again this same dose one more time

By then it'll be at good base levels

Then after that he will produce my own supplement pill which is personalized for me! They call this in Portuguese "manipulação". You take this to keep your values at the right base levels

This kind of stuff is becoming common in US, South America and Asia but would be hard to get in Europe where preventative healthcare is still highly frowned upon and clinics like these barely even exist, I hope this changes though of course

I asked if the doctor knew @bryan_johnson and of course he did and he said he was a big follower of him 😎

We'll be testing blood work values in a month or so to see the changes and will report back then ✌️

inb4 "ur not sick why u care about this". That's the point of preventative healthcare, you improve your health before it becomes a problem!
