It's about time for some attention to the suffering of Congo's Tutsis. All focus seems to be on what Rwanda is doing wrong while the DRC's Govt gets a pass. Justice for Congo's Tutsis is a foundational problem which a long-term solution must address!

The Banyamulenge gather in Washington correctly calling out dictator Tshisekedi and the genocidal FDLR forces for carrying out another genocide in Africa's great lakes. I call on Presidents Tshisekedi and Ndayishimiye to immediately stop all violence and Implement the Washington Peace Accord. The problems in Congo require active enactment by the Congo- not blaming President Trump.
#NDONDO: 300 Banyamulenge civilians went to buy food. They were attacked by the government coalition and many died. Raise awareness NOW by sharing this post.
Welcome home in EDRC!

Hundreds of Congolese residing in the #UK are protesting against the Burundian army in #Minembwe, against drone strikes targeting civilians, and against the genocide of the Banyamulenge perpetrated by Tshisekedi and his regime.Since the beginning of this Genocide. @UNHumanRights

Happy that Isôko-USA with our partner @MahoroMpa were invited to the sideline conference of #Kwibuka32 with distinguished Speakers on various topics regarding the ending of genocidal ideology and the promotion of civil dialogue to promote peace, justice and development in Africa and in the world.
Also together with #Sandra Survivor of Gatumba massacres we were honored to share the history of the persecution of Minorities ethnic group in Eastern D.R.Congo such as #Tutsi #Banyamulenge facing ongoing genocide because of their ethnical identity.
Her story and journey in the USA were so emotional and powerful relating the current killing of Banyamulenge in #Minembwe as the continuation of the genocide against the Tutsi.
Her full testimony as survivor can be found un her Book: "How Dare The Sun Rise".
We are thankful for the organizers @democracygrow and all the partners on this conference that shared the best outcomes of a strong African Diaspora who can advocate for their homeland.
Let us all unite to end the genocidal ideology in the DRCongo and in the African great lakes regions.

Minembwe is witnessing a silent ethnic cleansing, while the entire world is watching. #Minembwe is all of us. The world should hold the murderous regime in Kinshasa accountable.
@SecRubio@HouseForeign
Current Situation: #Minembwe under heavy bombing by DRC forces.
Since local radio station and telecommunications have been bombed and cut off in Minembwe.
The only way to communication what the Washington peace accords look like on the ground is through the diaspora who hold strong connections to the affected communities.

“The violence against the Banyamulenge did not emerge suddenly. For years, political scapegoating and hate speech have portrayed them as “foreigners” in their own country, language that has repeatedly fueled attacks and exclusion. The memory of the 2004 Gatumba massacre in neighboring Burundi, where more than 160 Banyamulenge refugees were killed in a camp meant to protect them, remains an unresolved trauma for the community”. @GapalaMandela
