The original proposed ordinance was-
“To see whether police officers shall be permitted to enforce federal immigration laws, comply with immigration detainer requests, or contact federal immigration authorities to conduct a background investigation on anyone arrested on evidence of any other crime. No school district nor town official shall establish “Sanctuary City” policies that prevent immigration laws from being enforced by any police officer nor federal immigration officer in the performance of their job.

A “yes” vote is to ensure that Deerfield is not a “Sanctuary” town and that town officials will fully assist with the enforcing of federal immigration laws.”

Let’s not forget how the NH Senate REPUBLICANS Killed over $2B in proposed property tax increases by the NH Senate Democrats.

THEN they came out with their plan to creat an income tax AND a sales tax AND increase property taxes.

@nhfreedom But how would that be implemented? Wouldn’t visitors just buy those too when they’re here? I have Illinois Pass transponders in all 3 of my vehicles. I’ve just never bothered to change them in NH because it doesn’t matter.
