@ehansalytics@CDM15171031@TalcottNYC@crossway It’s most certainly not a zero effort job, but I wouldn’t say it’s their ownership when it’s God’s word first and it isn’t exactly an original translation. They don’t own God’s word
@RepJackKimble@Ostrakon451 How about you make the people you work for get the American dream before you complain about making more than double the average Americans wage
@zancarius Makes a huge difference. I finally tainted my friend to grind her coffee after 10-15 years of being a snob to her ha. Grinding your own coffee is instant elevation, next is fresh coffee
The cheapest coffee they can find, set on fire, served by baristas who just push a button, and served in a paper cup. No thank you. That’s not an experience, that’s self inflicted torture for $9
Starbucks CEO defends a cup of coffee costing $9
He says the customers needs to just not think about it as a $9 cup of coffee, you’re paying for the “experience” of getting a Starbucks coffee
“In some cases a $9 experience does feel like you're splurging, and then what that means is we have to make it worthwhile.”
He says Starbucks customers “want to have a special experience and regardless of what your income level is, in some cases, a $9 experience does feel like you're splurging — well, this is a really affordable premium experience”
How out of touch could a person possibly be…
@zancarius No kidding. And that 32oz bag is likely higher quality too. You can make back an investment on good coffee gear in good time if you are a regular coffee drinker and have a habit of drinking out a lot
After this year, I am protesting buying tabs for my car in #Washington. 50% increase over last year. I will not. I voted for $35 tabs. We “have” $35 tabs. Crooks and lying thieves this government is.
@Itsfoss It’s a bunch of cobbled together software and it’s a miracle it even works. It can’t just settle on having 1 subsystem, it needs 5 subsystems of the same thing and you need to know how to use each one or you won’t get audio working when you have an issue
@Peace_Grenade81@joewallin Which is why I’m preparing to peace out. I finally got a good paying job, but still not enough to reasonably afford a home here and support a family. I’m next on their list and I can’t afford a home. All my mom’s family is looking to leave too. Been WA residents since the 1800s
