Our robots are going to space.
With @ISS_CASIS National Lab. We’ve been quietly working toward this for a while. There’s a lot we can’t show yet, but we’re incredibly excited about what comes next.
See you in orbit.

"America's defense-tech renaissance is well underway… Yet raising capital and winning development contracts aren't what ultimately matter for great defense companies. What matters is production and fielding at scale."
"Silicon Valley has largely overlooked that base: we haven't funded enough of the manufacturers and supply chain beneath these companies."
"That gap is a national security liability. It is also a generational opportunity for American capital."
"Tier 2 and 3 suppliers, the layer technology hasn't touched, sit grossly underpriced… That is the whitespace. That's the investment opportunity."
"We are entering a new age of manufacturing, one that may be inspired by Silicon Valley, but will be built across Middle America."

America has 16,876 machine shops.
83% employ fewer than 20 people. Just nine employ more than 500.
New defense companies are moving from prototypes to mass production, and every missile, drone, ship, and rocket they ultimately produce needs to run through one of these small shops.
That friction is a national security liability.

@AIQuanting@ycombinator@ekberndt@vivianmshen What’s reusable is the data that generalizes across different policies, and some of the sub component families, but each product is unique.
@JensenHuang AI is the first force in decades that is actually pulling manufacturing, energy, and construction investment back into the U.S. at this scale.
Gavin, spot on.
AI is bringing manufacturing back to America and reindustrializing the nation after decades of offshoring.
AI is creating demand that drives investment in our aging power grid and sustainable energy, powered by market forces, not subsidies.
AI is creating construction and manufacturing jobs across energy plants, chip fabs and data centers.
AI is creating new companies and industries. $400 billion has been invested in AI startups in the past six months alone.
Builders must partner with communities to build in their hometowns, earn trust and create local benefits.
We have an opportunity to create lasting benefits for communities across America and help America lead the next industrial revolution.
@Figure_robot Zero-shot across thirty homes is a stronger result than most lab demos.
It suggests the model is starting to treat the physical world as continuous rather than a set of scripted tasks.
@TheHumanoidHub 10 million robots a year is a big number.
It gets a lot less interesting if we’re just using them to fill the same stations humans used to stand at.
