Falsifying business records = misdemeanor

Falsifying business records with intent to conceal a crime = felony

Each document = 1 charge (which is typical of all fraud and white collar crime cases)

Result - 34 charges of a FELONY offense.

Calling for jail based on verdicts is categorically different from calling for jail based on accusations.
