Pyrroloquinoline Quinone (PQQ):
A compound found in:
◇ Parsley
◇ Green tea
◇ Kiwi
◇ Papaya
PQQ is a redox factor that rapidly eliminates damaging free radicals & supercharges mitochondrial function.
◇ Enhances NAD+/NADH ratio
◇ Activates sirtuins
◇ Stimulates mitochondrial biogenesis
◇ Inhibits NF-κB
◇ Cofactor for multiple enzymes
This is all to say it increases mitochondria amount and capacity to generate energy.
This has given it some incredible properties, improving:
◇ Lifespan
◇ Intestinal permeability / gut dysbiosis
◇ Heart failure
◇ Neurodegeneration
◇ Inflammatory markers
◇ Exercise capacity
It might even be an essential nutrient - animals show signs of deficiency without it.
Safe in studies so far - supplementing at 10+ mg / day.
🚀 Wrapping up my workflow for back-testing intraday momentum with zero-cost Alpaca data, a Python script & RealTest for lightning-fast analysis that i will share here.
Here are the exact rules I’m testing:
1️⃣ Trade window: 09:30–16:00 ET, 1-min bars
2️⃣ Vol gauge: SPY’s last 15 days ⇒ average daily % swing (used for bet sizing)
3️⃣ Typical minute wiggle: for each clock minute, average the last 14 days’ intraday range |Close ÷ Open − 1|
4️⃣ Bands
• Upper Band = max(Open, yesterday’s close-adj) × (1 + typical wiggle)
• Lower Band = min(Open, yesterday’s close-adj) × (1 − typical wiggle)
5️⃣ Signal at every 30-min bar close (10:00, 10:30 …):
🔼 Go long if Price > Upper Band and Price > VWAP
🔽 Go short if Price < Lower Band and Price < VWAP
6️⃣ Sizing: target ±2% daily account move ⇒ Shares = Equity / Open × min(0.02 / vol gauge, 4×)
7️⃣ Exit: first minute after a 30-min bar when the long/short test fails (5️⃣) or 16:00—whichever comes first
After fees, the curve still slopes 🔝. Caveat: TradeStation volume vs Alpaca differs → VWAP shifts (details in my study bellow) → results differ.

The 'Right Side of the V' concept is very valuable. Now, if I have to pick the concept from @TheOneLanceB lessons and his amazing course @LanceMagnumOpus that has changed my trading career, I have to choose THE BROKEN SLOT MACHINE concept!
The stock selection process/skill is paramount in this business. Selecting the right scenarios is like 70% of our decision making as a traders, then we can refine our systems for maximizing EV, however trading the right stocks always comes first, no matter how "precise" our trading system is. 'You are as good as the stocks you trade'.
2 great examples of THE BROKEN SLOT MACHINE this week were $COIN and $UNH! These stocks gave a variety of multiple opportunities for deploying several playbooks from Breaking News to Trend Continuation to Mean Reversion. Amazing high expected value for the trader that is able to deploy those playbooks.
Just wanted to share my excitement! I've never learned Python, but with the help of DeepSeek, I created a website and a discord bot in just 2 days, which focus on event driven stock analysis or episodic pivots. Is this amazing? @jfsrevg
Further evidence of consumer weakness:
US same-store sales at McDonald's, $MCD, fell -3.6% in Q1 2025, the most since the 2020.
Same-store sales growth is a metric comparing revenue for restaurants open for at least 13 months.
This significantly exceeded expectations of a -1.4% decrease.
This also marked the 2nd straight quarterly sales decline, the longest streak in 10 years.
Concerningly, restaurant visits by lower and middle-income customers fell in the double-digit range from last year.
Even fast food has become unaffordable for many.
The most downloaded finance paper on SSRN is, without a doubt, A Quantitative Approach to Tactical Asset Allocation by @MebFaber, written in 2006 and downloaded more than 250,000 times.
So we decided to start our #QuanTips journey right there.
In this first edition, we:
1⃣ Reintroduce Faber’s original GTAA model
2⃣ Analyze its performance over the last 20 years
3⃣ Propose a simple fix to reduce rebalancing timing luck
4⃣ And (bonus!) share Python code to fully automate execution via Interactive Brokers

S&P 500 coming in for a test of its 200-week moving average 🚨 This has held as support for the last 15 years with the lone exception of a wick down during the Covid scare. Circle 4700 as a critically important level to watch for the $SPX ✅
BILL ACKMAN BUYS 20% OF HERTZ $HTZ
So, I completely missed this today since I was busy covering Powell make movie references as my net worth continued to tank…
Can someone explain why Ackman is buying a car rental company?
He already owns 30M+ shares of $UBER — I imagine there’s no way he buys Hertz without assuming there is an Uber partnership lined up…
Right?
$HTZ +99%
