I am a RD in the Atlanta area with a passion for nutrition and triathlons. I try to live by my motto of Work hard, play harder.

This is admittedly a long shot, but a friend of mine is at Yosemite and captured this awesome candid shot of a proposal but obviously couldn’t share it with the couple. Can y’all help us find these folks?

Here’s the pic.

@briangriese it is hard to get two hands up when one is being held down...

OK. Let’s cut the 🐮💩.

Current evidence is clear no one diet is clearly superior.

It is simple some people find certain dietary approaches more suitable for their preferences/ lifestyle & effective for them to stick to, follow & improve health.

The End!

Wanting a #healthy #diet? Try changing one thing at a time. Add more veggies OR decrease sweets. Doing them at the same time may be tough.

During this time with New Year's Resolutions make them realistic! Setting yourself up for failure is not the way to start off the year.

A winning team must create a ➕ culture where negativity can't breed & grow. Confront & remove it from team to 👀 how 💪🏻 the culture will be.

A big shout out to all those #RDN that are out there being rockstars at what they do. Happy #RDNday !!!

It is scary the amount of horrible nutrition advice you can find on the internet. Look to a pro and speak with a #RD ! #EatRight #nutrition

As a practitioner it is important to grow...I learned to be more specific with recommendations by providing # and not %. #nutrition #growth

[David Talley RD,CSSD @triathlonRD]

With clients I find it important to discuss their goals. Many are focused on appearance which can interfere with performance. #nutrition

When making dietary changes less is often better. Simple small changes are easier to maintain than large drastic changes!! #FoodForThought

@TriathlonTutor the big concern is to not overload on CHO. Too much can slow emptying and lead to GI distress on the run. Have a game plan!

@jessemthomas Nice article! I liked the part about the strength training, helps on so many fronts!

One of the biggest mistakes I see athletes make is not practicing their race day nutrition. Try it out in practice! #practicemakesperfect
