Unveiling our 2024 logo, here’s what makes it special🤩
With a focus on Indigenous knowledge, rights and young voices, the One Young World Summit 2024 is being held in Montréal/Tiohtià:ke!
We believe partnering with, engaging, and supporting Indigenous and First Nations young people is essential. Since 2016, we have ensured that we address the challenges faced by Indigenous communities, with the aim of sharing their expertise and solutions.
In 2023, we established an Indigenous Council to maximise Indigenous peoples' access to One Young World. We are partnering with Indigenous and First Nations organisations to create opportunities for Indigenous youth, continue to build a network of young Indigenous leaders, and aim to fund initiatives led by young Indigenous leaders.
This year, the Summit will start with Indigenous Youth Day to bring delegates from Indigenous communities worldwide to discuss their role in global leadership.
Tell us what you want to know from Indigenous leaders in the comment section and learn more about our Council here: https://t.co/0pO9REU5CD
Another extraordinary day, soaking in the giant spirit of #OYW23 in Belfast! 🎉
Tomorrow, our community will be dedicated to learning and creating ways to build peace around the world 🕊️
As we work to ensure that the voices, perspectives and needs of Indigenous Communities are at the forefront of decision-making that affects not only Indigenous communities but the world. We are absolutely delighted to welcome these inspiring Indigenous Leaders 🙌
