Hey @blackardinal , what’s the status update about the talks with the creator?
I think having some updates will be good, be it in progress or rejected or maybe she’s considering etc.
Staying silent will only let fudders continue to fud our bags.
if you're still playing video games after you've realised the opportunities in crypto,
you are born to lose.
you can sit on a website, click a few buttons, and make thousands of dollars,
why the fuck would you want to play anything else?
When finding a cofounder, make sure you find one that has skills you don't have.
If they don't have skills you don't have, money you don't have, or time you don't have then it probably isn't a good partnership.
Over the past 3 years, I've read 30+ books on trading.
The truth is - majority of them added no value.
Shorten your learning curve by reading these 10 (and toss the rest in the trash):
@Edwin_png @redarrowhead Their success is determined by how fast they can achieve profitability and self sustainability. Shopee is undeniably the market leader in Southeast asia. They are in the best position to flip the switch to profitability.
Analogy: When bulking, you consume more than you need, to grow as much muscle mass as possible. Sure, there’s going to be fat produced, but the goal is to grow. Then you cut as much fat as you can and optimize.
$SE is currently cutting all its fat and optimizing. Inflection.
@Edwin_png @redarrowhead Growth right now should be a means of output, not a goal. Right now, the goal should be cutting operating costs asap. Management is not taking cash based compensation anymore. They are cutting away all the fat so that resources are optimized.
@jhcapitall @SteadyCompound@heymaxkoh@eugeneng@FromValue @SlingshotCap @bjornng @MadsC007@Snafl80@punchcardinvest For me, it's still a hold as well but I will not pour new capital in, due to portfolio management constraints. If Shopee breaks even, Garena shows sign of stabilization and Seamoney growth accelerates, I might reconsider. Cheers man @jhcapitall
@jhcapitall @SteadyCompound@heymaxkoh@eugeneng@FromValue @SlingshotCap @bjornng @MadsC007@Snafl80@punchcardinvest @jhcapitall Thanks for tagging. I've read your analysis and think the points you brought up are valid. I'm so glad as a shareholder they did a capital raise at $318 which brought in $6B of cash. If not, I think it will be much more difficult for them to navigate.
Following on Seamoney’s growth, i believe that it will truly be the next driver for $SE. Bukalapak is one example of how its revenue increases because take rate increases.
