Auto drivers themselves are expressing appreciation for TN CM Vijay following the increase in the minimum auto fare to ₹50.

Just a few days ago, the opposition was building a narrative that auto drivers would be adversely affected by the Vettri Payanam scheme trying to turn one sector against CM, but that joy didn’t last long. Today, the conversation is about another measure aimed at addressing the concerns of the same community.

Our HCM will never choose one section of society over another. He is all about recognising the needs of different sections and working towards their welfare without discrimination. Every decision that impacts people’s livelihoods deserves to be viewed through the lens of public welfare.
