Zero RB Judas

Slinging the truth about Fantasy Football

[Zero RB Judas @ZeroRBJudas]

@DSP4150 “Morality doesn’t exist in the conventional sense. Nothing is intrinsically right or wrong. Rather morality is a set of common beliefs that probabilistically occur from evolutionary incentives, a mere outward expression of our genetics” - Freshman Bo Nix in ethics class, probably

[Zero RB Judas @ZeroRBJudas]

@_TruthTeller__ @chunky_bear_ @RRICH1990 There’s a lot of truth to that, but that’s what good coaching will do. If you have an ass team, you will beat the other ass teams. You just can’t elevate an ass roster and consistently beat good rosters like the Raiders will start to face.

[Zero RB Judas @ZeroRBJudas]

@chunky_bear_ @RRICH1990 They are going to naturally start getting exposed a bit as they move towards playing better teams especially on the road. Also have to tip your hat to Drake Maye a little bit. Freaky deep ball accuracy today. Lots of NFL QBs aren’t converting all of those deep balls like that

[Zero RB Judas @ZeroRBJudas]

@chunky_bear_ @RRICH1990 Raiders roster is legitimately bottom tier talent wise. Klint having the Raiders 3-2 is a reflection of elite coaching. The team has no business being 3-2 and playing the Chiefs as close as they did. Plenty of other ex Raiders coaches has this team 1-4 at best.

[Zero RB Judas @ZeroRBJudas]

@RaiderJagger @MySportsUpdate @DeanBlandino I largely think the refs, reffed pretty well for the most part. The Tucker one was kind of a bad miss, but those catches are hard to see especially in the middle of the field like that. Replay Assist exists for these moments, so that’s more of a failure there.

[Zero RB Judas @ZeroRBJudas]

@RaiderJagger @MySportsUpdate @DeanBlandino C’mon. This is coming from a Raiders fan, but Raiders DBs got away with their fair share of reps that could have been called as PIs. If I remember right, that ball to Tucker was not remotely catchable, so for once that was a good application of that rule by the officials imo.

[Zero RB Judas @ZeroRBJudas]

@justindhansen @MySportsUpdate @DeanBlandino Don’t they run off from when Tucker was downed which was at 20 seconds? And that run off only happens if they reviewed and said Tucker caught the ball.

So they would run off down to 10 seconds which was where the Raiders spiked anyways (if Tucker actually caught the ball)

[Zero RB Judas @ZeroRBJudas]

@JeffSchnett @RyanPaganetti I was about to say the same thing. Shortening the game in this situation is always superior when there’s future games to play and injuries are a possibility.

[Zero RB Judas @ZeroRBJudas]

@GaudreauJordan @ScottBarrettDFB @FantasyPtsData That is true. He broke his fair share of tackles that game, but the Dolphins also might have zero ability to tackle.

[Zero RB Judas @ZeroRBJudas]

@ScottBarrettDFB @FantasyPtsData Jeanty was flaming hot garbage weeks 2 and 3. Ill give you that. But I thought he was excellent week 1. I feel like his rookie year was largely an incomplete grade. Hard to really grade anything behind that Raiders o line last year.

[Zero RB Judas @ZeroRBJudas]

@ScottBarrettDFB @FantasyPtsData We sure Najee’s line was worse? Najee wasn’t evading anything. Surely data could be impacted by the fact that Jeanty actually could evade the occasional defender behind the line? Just feel like there could be some factors at play where Jeanty actually improved his own YBC numbers

[Zero RB Judas @ZeroRBJudas]

@elucix1 @ffdataroma @FantasyPtsData The only thing that can stop Brock Bowers is injury. If you could turn injuries off, there is every argument that he’s a 1st round pick in fantasy. Healthy Bowers dusts even McBride in terms of raw ability

[Zero RB Judas @ZeroRBJudas]

@mikebloodworth @MichaelFFlorio It’s true

[Zero RB Judas @ZeroRBJudas]

@raygarvin @FF_TravisM I don’t think I would state generational prospect and show a clip of said prospect failing to secure the catch based on NFL rules.

[Zero RB Judas @ZeroRBJudas]

@HoboThatsFrugal @TheMarcJohnNFL Carr wasn’t atrocious in a vacuum. I think it’s not out of the question he could have led a stacked Seahawks type of roster to a SB. But that’s what it would take. Problem was he kept the Raiders too close to the middle for too long.

[Zero RB Judas @ZeroRBJudas]

@scrdrfan @TheMarcJohnNFL I’ve always wondered how close could Carr be to mimicking Jared Goff if he landed in that Lions situation tbh.

[Zero RB Judas @ZeroRBJudas]

@scrdrfan @TheMarcJohnNFL True, but Hebert has performed much better imo. EPA isn’t a perfect stat, but that attempts to account for things like padding stats down big, etc. Herbert clears Carr’s considerably. Now EPA won’t account for the “quality of the players around you” factor though

[Zero RB Judas @ZeroRBJudas]

@chefarab_ Drake has always been slow. His main calling card is that he’s very shifty for a guy his size. Gives him a unique play style where he can be a contested catch demon but also separate way better than the typical contested catch demon.

[Zero RB Judas @ZeroRBJudas]

@hawkblimp Now NFL teams know what it’s like to be a fantasy owner. Wish they knew what it was like to have a player listed as doubtful that you can’t move to your IR spot and having to drop a player you want to keep because you need to get a guy playing Thursday night into your lineup
