Happy to share the product of a beautiful collaboration just published in @natcomms.
We investigate, in males and females, how exposure to early life adversity can shape resilience and susceptibility to stressful situations later in life.

🚨 Our new study "Decoding the molecular, cellular, and functional heterogeneity of zebrafish intracardiac nervous system" out in @NatureComms! 🌟
We identify the "little brain" of the heart: the intricate intracardiac nervous system (IcNS) of zebrafish! 🐟 Learn more here about how this changes what we know about heart functionality.

Excited to share @AmpatzisLab and @KizilLab's's new paper on #zebrafish 's intracardiac nervous system (IcNS), highlighting the presence of pacemaker-like neurons that partake in heart rhythm—linking cardiac and neuroscience research. https://t.co/n2OhC1kxrT
Our new study is out!

We (@CarlenLab) mapped the mouse PFC using single-unit activity! We recorded ~23,000 neurons across cortical/subcortical regions and profiled spont. firing patterns to reveal what separates the PFC from other brain regions.

I'm excited to share the publication of @GalAtlan 's final PhD project.
Title is accurate for the take-home message, yet, there is a lot more to the paper, including the association of claustrum activity to individual variance in strategy. Check it out:

Paper alert from @NathalieJuYa lab now published in iScience.https://t.co/uOU5oLuFXy
Cilia are involved in many developmental processes. Our work sheds light on their function in establishing neural circuits in the zebrafish larval brain.
I am pleased to share our new paper on a bystander neuroprotective mechanism employed by the spinal cord after injury. I want to thank all the colleagues who contributed: https://t.co/1lKDHN1V1p
🚀 Exciting opportunity! Our lab at Rutgers University is now hiring a postdoctoral researcher. Join us to explore the mysteries of the somatosensory system using cutting-edge molecular genetics. Apply now! 🧬🔬 https://t.co/GaH4XHv6Hi
Excited to share our study in J Neurosci identifying a new neuron population involved in rhythm generating locomotor network. Congrat to first author @maellebertho, and Vanessa Calderia, @Li16084841, Peter Löw and Lotta Borgius.

We found a variant in FN1 gene correlated with lower pathology at the bbb and decreased reactive gliosis in unaffected carriers. #Zebrafish knockout model confirmed that loss of FN1 function could reduce brain damage in Alzheimer's. #kizillab
