Last week, through our Global Fund TB Programme, we attended the National Nurses Association of Kenya, 65th annual scientific conference, titled "Our Nurses, our Future; Addressing #ClimateChange for Sustainable #UHC". We used the platform to raise awareness of TB early detection, screening, prevention, treatment, community referrals, and the drivers of Multidrug Resistance TB. Our message was clear: TB is curable, and all public health facilities offer free-of-charge treatment. 1⃣ At least 18 weeks, preferably more than 6 months, paid maternity leave;
2⃣ Paid time off for breastfeeding or expressing milk upon returning to work;
