Palbociclib for Hormone-Receptor–Positive, HER2-Positive Advanced Breast Cancer

In this phase 3 trial, adding palbociclib to maintenance HER2-targeted🎯 and endocrine therapy significantly improved progression-free survival in patients with hormone-receptor–positive, HER2-positive🧬 metastatic #BreastCancer who had stable disease after first-line chemotherapy. Median progression-free survival increased from 29.1 to 44.3 months. This benefit was accompanied by higher rates of adverse events, mainly neutropenia, compared with standard therapy alone.
