WHEN?

AI in math, physics, chemistry, even biology, most people won’t really notice.

I’m talking about everyone, not people already deep into tech and science new, nerds, tech journalists, mathematicians, researchers, pharma companies, and so on.

So when will the masses finally notice?

When we move from math → physics → chemistry → biology acceleration into AI engineering and AI invention accelerated by 10–1000x.

AI that can propose sophisticated new machines, devices, materials, factories, robots, and entirely new technologies almost as easily as it can generate an image or video today.

You give AGI/ASI a prompt, and if the laws of physics don’t forbid it, it gives you a detailed plan for how to build and mass produce it, starting with exactly what to buy and where, from raw materials to individual components, and including, of course, a ready to launch advertising campaign for the upcoming product or technology, so in many cases they will be funded through crowdfunding campaigns.

So yes, we will still have to build them.

But with such an explosion of AI generated designs and new ideas, the number of viable inventions, the number of entrepreneurs trying to commercialize them will likely grow 10x-100x or more.

This is when acceleration becomes impossible to ignore.

New machines. New products. New infrastructure. New kind of robots. New materials. New industries appearing everywhere at a pace that feels completely alien compared with today.

Then people will notice the Singularity.

Not just researchers in labs or people following AI on X.

Everybody. Everywhere. Even in remote villages of Papua New Guinea.
