Building big kernels from now forward is where the yield comes from. We have a very conducive disease environment, but we have the components for high yields in most fields. Quite a bit of reservation on fungicide.

Lot of fungicide questions and decisions now. Last year we saw lower disease pressure in many places, but not NE Iowa. 5th wettest July on record in Decorah with heavy rains to kick off tar spot. 2023 has started very dry, but we aren’t out of the woods yet. ⁦@CropTechInc⁩

Earlier corn is anywhere from just tasseling to R2 right now. Water use during this time reaches around .3 in of use/day. Incredibly important time period to reduce stress. ☀️ + 🌧️ + moderate temps will drive successful kernel pollination and get fill off to a good start!
