@DrDiGiorgio Only thing missing is that insurance companies must be as much liable for their misses as doctors. Doctors have malpractice and licensure risk that can end a career from bad decisions or bad luck. Insurance cos need to have the same level of risk for delaying/denying care.

@HealthcareREguy Unless you have proprietary, advantageous insurance contracts a la hospitals or PE, the ROI and return on work is low in independent traditional insurance-based practices. Seeing a lot of entrepreneurship in the direct care space without this insurance burden.
