Our recent Nature Communications paper on off-fault damage has been highlighted by the KAUST Disvovery magazine, see here: https://t.co/opkfqWqd6m @Jihong_KAUST@KlingerYann
Great to see our Nature Comm. paper out on off-fault damage: It extends further than previously reported, correlates with fault geometrical complexities, and has implications for slip-rate estimates from geomorphology @KAUST_PSE@Jihong_KAUST@KlingerYann https://t.co/9iIZpDe0gb
📣📣Our new paper is now published in @NatureComms!

"Mitigating Atmospheric Delays in InSAR Time Series: The DetrendInSAR Method and Its Validation" (https://t.co/HD2MnGkCsS). The proposed DetrendInSAR method simultaneously models both the spatially smooth (Trend) and DEM-correlated components.
The key point is to model different components in InSAR time series based on their spatiotemporal characteristics. You can access the code and demo cases at https://t.co/IdMd4mLtUe.

Active fault trip to Greece by @IPGP_officiel tectonics group is on the road again. This year some students from @Sjonni_KAUST and @Prof_QuakeMod from KAUST, Saudi Arabia, are part of the legends
Our current version of the fault-slip model of the 6 Feb. 2023 Kahramanmaras earthquakes, estimated by @XingLisom based on data processed by @Jihong_KAUST, as part of the CDI and @CES_KAUST group efforts. @KAUST_PSE 1/5
Can anyone get the ascending #Sentinel1 frame along track 116 that covers the #TurkiyeEarthquake on 16th Feb.? Other frames along this track are almost available, but only the frame covering this earthquake. It's really strange. @Sjonni_KAUST
#TurkeyEarthquake Displacement from Burst Overlap Interferometry on Sentinel-1 images!
We can resolve clear displacements from double-differencing dense #InSAR fringes.
It is a preliminary BOI result, which still needs phase unwrapping.
Coseismic displacements near the two faults are asymmetric, in part due to opposing motion between the two faults. This prelim. result is from Sentinel-1&2 offsets by @JinhongLiu4 here at #KAUST as a part of the CDI and @CES_KAUST group efforts. @KAUST_PSE@ESA_EO 1/5
