There are Bad Roads, There are Worst Roads and then there is the newly concretized NH-48 (Mumbai Ahmedabad) stretch. Zero Smoothness, scraped and potholed. Wonder which relative got the contract to build this one 😒
They seriously messed up a perfectly fine Tar road.

It’s about time that we burst the fake PR bubble of the Union Road Transport Ministry and National Highway Authority of India.

Mumbai- Nashik
Mumbai- Goa
Mumbai- Ahmedabad

All 3 roads are made and maintained by the NHAI. National Highways!

For all the bogus lofty talks of the “push on infrastructure” and “infrastructure spend” and “kilometres made per day”, this is the real state of the 3 major highways given to contractor friends of those in the ministry.

Thank you @htTweets for highlighting the plight of our National Highways and the bogus talk we hear on “infrastructure”.

We as Maharashtra pay the highest taxes and get this in return, along with the toll.

Same is the case with MSRDC and the roads it has made in the recent past.

The quality of cement work is substandard as at many places u can see potholes.
The potholes of concrete roads r very bad for Vehicle Tyres as compared to Tar Roads.
The RMC used for this Road were not properly mixed which can be easily seen as rain cleans all dust from d surface
