@nangelinee @Msingh43Singh@Gracedom3102 Feeling safe and secure in today’s world is really rare so I agree evryone crave some sense of security or safe zone #I2E21
@Nicholas_Smith6@KayliReynolds24 Too many laws, rules, & restrictions exist for free will to truly exist. America can say we have “freedom of speech” but in reality it’s bullshit. Simple news can be edited or the truth can be hidden or rewritten. Free will can’t exist if someone is always there to sugarcoat#IE21
@Gracedom3102 Humans have the capability to make and act on their own decisions. However having autonomy and not respecting others for having their own decisions contradicts the idea of self governing. No one should be judged or ridiculed about what they choose for themselves#I2E21
@zachI2E21@Andre_Dong8@miiiamor7 Happiness can mean many different things to many different people. It can definitely give people the motivation to live on or still fight. Happiness will differentiate moral values between each individual depending on what they’re values or morals are #I2E21
@SophiaGuadagno1 When people experience happiness it releases dopamine which is what stimulate the roll of pleasure;when people do what ultimately makes them happy,we are looking for the ultimate pleasure that flourishes our life It gives purpose to what we do& reasoning to why we do it #I2E21
@oliviarose327 Writing is a form of expression, artist portray their emotions through music, dance , or art, but it is their form of expressing their emotions… the value of their talent and music , correlated with those who understand their position, and comprehend their views #I2E21
@EthicalCole@SophiaGuadagno1 There are people that are mentally sick that believe kidnapping children and raping men and women is an experience of happiness and they feel powerful or untouchable, should that not matter ? #I2E21
@LucasCoutoUB I’ve seen the show, and for those who have, do you think people are acting prudent or altruism and why ? For those who haven’t, when faced with life or death how would you respond in a situation that affects your family, prudent or altruism? #I2E21
@student_ethics Self reflection is an amazing way to be our own critics in our actions, it’s an action that helps most remain humble if not humble us even more;wanting people to be more altruistically is a good idea; but self interest and greed plays a major role in making such decision. #I2E21
@jakedag13 It’s more ethical to test a human product in a human than an animal because humans are able to give consent about what they choose to do with their bodies rather than testing it on an animal who does not get a say and is not benefitting from the situation. #I2E21
@KelzPag Honestly I would not sacrifice my first child just because “god” told me to do so because if “god” gave me what I wanted and asked me to personally take that life away ; I would not do it because why did you give me such blessing if you planned on taking it back. #I2E21
@ethicsub God is subjective because different religions have different view points on who is “god”. The pronouns and gender that people choose to refer to God is completely their choice. #I2E21
@MattCEthics “Perfect” is a subjective word when it comes to describing anything . In the module he mentions god as a her and if she is perfection, then why does society today try and shape / change women ? #I2E21
@BeruIfberu I agree that god was testing Abraham’s faith to see if he truly believes in him without any doubt but I also think that god is lenient with people because everyone makes mistakes and pays the consequences in their own way #I2E21
@crustygobber I agree, education is a solutions to the problem of racism; African Americans have to teach their children about the world around them and about law enforcement and racism as a way to take care of themselves, people should do the same for the topic of racism #I2E21
@KelzPag@WaldenBecca@DavidOo999 They usually say that your gut instinct is always right, not just in this scenario but generally its like the mind unconsciously know there’s something wrong , and we say it’s a “ gut feeling” #I2E21
@MattCEthics @LucasCoutoUB The way you are raised plays a part in your beliefs however it doesn’t justify your morals. Beliefs and perspective are also subjective to change as you grow and experience different aspects in your life#I2E21
@student_ethics@MinhNamNguyen96@JonathanDaity This reminds me of domestic violence when couples argue one person usually looses respect for the other. Relying on our own moral reasoning can get blurred when high emotions are involved#I2E21
