No matter how badly a Vijay-led government performs, many people feel it would still be an inch better than a DMK government. That’s the level of public dissatisfaction the DMK has accumulated over the last five years.
Going forward, if anyone can emerge as a strong force against a Vijay government, it will have to be another credible alternative. For me, that alternative is Annamalai.
A strong Annamalai-led opposition is good for Tamil Nadu. Only then will the political change that has begun truly reach its full potential. Otherwise, in another 5–10 years, public frustration with the ruling government could once again bring the DMK back to power, resetting the cycle all over again.

விஜய்யை ரசிக மனநிலையில் இருந்து ரசிப்பவர்களிடம் இனி திமுக என்ன சொன்னாலும் எடுபடாது… ஏனென்றால் விஜய் ஆட்சி எவ்வளவு கேவலமாக போனாலும் அது திமுக ஆட்சியை விட ஒரு இன்ச் better ஆகதான் இருக்கும்… அந்த அளவு திமுக மக்கள் வெறுப்பை கடந்த 5 ஆண்டுகளில் சம்பாதித்துவிட்டது…

இனி விஜய் ஆட்சிக்கு எதிராக தெளிவான narrative set செய்ய முடியும் என்றால் அது இன்னொரு alternative force ஆல்தான் முடியும்… அது அண்ணாமலை மட்டுமே…

அண்ணாமலை வலுவான எதிர்கட்சியாக உருவாவதுதான் தமிழ்நாட்டிற்கும் நல்லது… அப்போதுதான் நடந்திருக்கும் மாற்றம்
முழுமை அடையும்… இல்லையென்றால் மீண்டும் 5-10 ஆண்டுகளில் இந்த ஆட்சியின் மீது ஏற்படும் சலிப்பால் மீண்டும் திமுகவே வந்து உட்காரும்… அப்போது இந்த மாற்றம் மீண்டும் 0 வில் போய் முடியும்…

This wasn’t politics as usual. It was a full moral indictment.
Giorgia Meloni, targeted by Trump for supporting transgender people and for saying that “trans children are children of God,” completely turned the tables. Instead of backing down, she grounded her message in the very teachings Trump tried to weaponize.
“I am not a perfect Christian,” she said. “There was only one perfect man, and two thousand years ago he was crucified.”
Then came the line that hit the hardest:
“Jesus told us to love our neighbor as ourselves… Can we imagine war in heaven? Can we imagine hatred in heaven? Can we imagine poverty in heaven? Then why do we tolerate these things on Earth?”
This is how you respond. Not with insults. Not with fear. But with clarity and conviction.
Trump tried to discredit her. Instead, Giorgia Meloni delivered a sermon that now echoes far beyond that hall.

Why Argentina is doing so well:

After having watched the team play in the last World Cup and now, two things are obvious to me:

1. Every player in the team realises and knows that Messi is the go to guy….all are playing to ensure the ball reaches him as he will create the best chances to score.

2. Messi knows it but does not wear it as a badge of pride but as an onerous responsibility on his shoulders. He won’t only give his best to score but finds spaces and creates brilliant assists for his team players to score. Many times he goes and helps defenders too.

There is not an iota of “ego” in any one member of the team…a key trait of a successful “team”…They play for Messi and Messi plays for them!

This is why Argentina remains as the team to beat in the World Cup!

A day will come when experts will also start talking about Captain Messi, the leader!
