@DanNeidle We've had decades of barrister advice used to provide credibility to #LoanCharge schemes and these ppl (and other enablers) have made millions and walked away, leaving a trail of destruction. Meanwhile, #LoanChargeSuicides for the people duped
@emily4MK@loanchargeAPPG “A third of those effect will have liabilities written off” that must be a lie??? “Writing off £5k from ALL those affected” that is DEFINITELY a lie!
@emily4MK@Marion94862795@loanchargeAPPG Reality on ground paints different picture. See HMRCs technical note. Many groups excluded, including those coerced into settlement, therefore rewarding those who did not comply, but adding promoters fees to tax liability in new settlement, money people didn’t receive, SHAM!
@gregwrightYP The politicians were trying to find a solution until the civil servants hijacked it. McCann is still part of that. No independence whatsoever
@loanchargeAPPG@HMRCVictim @Dan4Barnet How are these reasonable and fair proposals @Dan4Barnet @RachelReevesMP when everyone who had to settle or face the Loan Charge under constant duress from HMRC are now worse off?!?!?!? 😡😡😡
What are your thoughts on this @jamesmurray_ldn ? Why would it be OK for Ministers to use professional advice as a defence? It's hypocrisy of the highest order. @LCAG_2019#LoanChargeScandal
We once again thank Ray McCann for meeting with the APPG to discuss the #McCannReview into #LoanCharge settlement terms. We do however have concerns relating to what we heard, including things that demonstrate it isn’t independent of HMRC & the Treasury.

Great to see the authorities have caught a fake benefits claimant, who made £8k out of the public purse!
Will they now be setting their sights on Michelle Mone’s SEVENTY MILLION POUNDS worth of money from the public purse?
We aren’t holding our breath.
The home of corruption -UK
@BBCScotlandNews So the NCA make up a story that they are investigating an unknown man. In 3 years no request to the CPS for charges. Someone upstairs has gotten to the NCA. CORRUPTION
@DanNeidle Dan, Members of the ICEAW were promoting these schemes to their clients. The ICEAW have done nothing. In that respect I'd challenge that the Bar Standards is doing anything different.
@ContractorCalc@jamesmurray_ldn can I encourage you to consult with @keithmgordon and @SarahEGabbai who have both recognised the unfairness in the current approach and who have penned a proposal to achieve a fair resolution?
Thank you
@SussexBylines, would you consider writing an article and tweeting the below to see which MP candidates are prepared to stick their neck out to help their prospective constituents fight the retrospective #loanChargeScandal by supporting the #LoanChargePledge
