Iโm the winner๐ฅSuper stoked!
#BuildItWithPhaser challenge by @phaser_ Studio in #GamedevJS Jam 2024!
I have tried several game engines, but Phaser is by far the best.
Doing a 360 Ollie Kickspinn flip with my game and ditch the unit "shop".
Players control a Hero who builds the base, creates the scrap piles for money, and eventually recruit units + upgrades. Hopefully this will create more hooks, more fun and increase engagement.

Congratulations to the challenges winners!
Unfortunately, my game wasnโt good enough to make the top 10 or unique enough to win a challenge, but Iโll come back stronger next year๐ช
Thanks for a successful #gamedevjs game jam.

Did you know #spine2D can be used for UI animations as well? Here's a switch with a toggle animation we can use in our game's UI.
Using Spine2d is easier, faster, and more convenient than trying to create the same animation in code.
@FatalExit@phaser_@wavedash Looks nice. My son (8 years old) just started to learn how to type on a keyboard. I'll have him playtest your game when it's ready!
With less than 2 hours left before the deadline, here is my #gamedevjs submission: Mean Machines

Didn't have time to add everything I wanted. Post jam, I'll include some cool and powerful weapons.
The swinging mechanic in 'Swing Shot' works by finding the closest anchor point, creating a distance joint, then applying force over time ๐ช๐บ
Clean Box2D + #Phaser implementation. 266k plays in 28 days on @YouTube Playables.
