The Manipur conflict has two phases.
Phase 1: The first phase began on April 27 with the destruction of state properties, Meitei's temple & properties, in Churachandpur. On May 3rd, an attempt was made to involve the Naga community in the conflict through the 'Tribal Solidarity March,' which failed due to the Nagas' awareness of Kuki history. Until around May 15, this phase constituted an ethnic conflict orchestrated by #ChinKukiZoNarcoTerrorists led by ITLF.
In this phase, more Kukis died than Meiteis due to the intense emotional reaction of the Meitei community in the densely populated Imphal area. This was triggered by the unexpected violence, arson attacks, and ethnic cleansing of Meiteis initiated by the Chin-Kuki people in their dominated areas. The miscalculation of the Meiteis' potential reaction by these Chin Kuki terrorists stems from their assumption that Meiteis are excessively kind and noble, underestimating the strong historical ties Meiteis have with Manipur's boundaries.
Phase 2: After a brief lull following the first phase, the second phase commenced just before HM @AmitShah's visit to Manipur. In this phase, #ChinKukiZoNarcoTerrorists executed the plan they had engineered. The objective was to cause maximum collateral damage between the two communities and convey to visiting central government authorities that the two communities cannot coexist. Leaders of these groups, mostly newcomers to Manipur (see below on image 1), lack sentimental attachments to the indigenous communities, suggesting the beginning of an armed conflict they may have prepared for since 2005.
Exploiting the presence of SoO camps surrounding the Manipur valley, like a necklace, they attacked and killed Meitei innocent people and hardworking peasants in the outskirts of the Imphal valley. In this second phase, many more Meiteis were killed than Kukiis, including the 26 people in the last 45 days. Although Manipur residents were aware of the transnational #ChinKukiZoNarcoTerrorists' involvement in these heinous crimes, it's noteworthy that the unified command has finally acknowledged this undeniable truth. It is hoped that the central government takes this national security issue very seriously now.
Central Government asks NIA to probe links between Kuki-Zomi Militant Groups for unrest in Manipur. This is a welcome step by Home Ministry under Shri @AmitShah who have understood the root causes to this unrest in the region. As I said earlier, one needs to understand the root causes to find a solution. This in-depth investigation will help in identifying all the links of the militant groups, their connection with Myanmar based foreign militia, procurement of arms and ammunition along with huge finances to destabilise our State of Manipur and the whole NE region. State Government has been stating that the present conflict is not just an ethnic conflict, but it has been pressured by foreign hands, militant groups breaking ground rules, narcotics amongst other issues. Am hopeful now that stringent action will be taken up against these militant groups sooner than later as the highest investigating agency of the land is directly involved now in this issue.

The strong resolution taken against poppy cultivation in Tamenglong & Noney district by Rongmei Students Union shows that the War on Drugs campaign is getting intense, and the people will not back down from the movement.
I urge everyone to extend support and appreciation to these youths for their sincere efforts to protect the future of Manipur. @PMOIndia@HMOIndia@NIA_India@narendramodi@AmitShah@NBirenSingh
Handed over this letter to Home Ministry under Shri @AmitShah and also mailed a copy to initiate action regarding the foreign terror links with Manipur based Organisations abroad in Canada and other countries. Urged him to have this investigated thoroughly and bring out all possible links of certain individuals and their organisation with Khalistan terror forces who are trying to destabilise Manipur, the region and the rest of the country. Also stated to have the murderers of the students given the most stringent punishment as per law.
Have also reiterated my stand to have the Indo Myanmar border of Mizoram fenced, similar to the fencing process in Manipur, as the State Government of Mizoram is not ready to ensure the capture of biometrics for the people entering the country from there, thus leaving space for such people to come to other parts of the country including Manipur. The Fencing of such border falls in the preview of Central Government, thus the State will not be able to deviate from such action.
Not India, but Government of Manipur must approach the Defence Ministry if this offer is true. No reason why GOM should not use this resource to cure the poppy malaise once and for all!
India must accept this generous and patriotic offer from Shree @rajnathsingh to destroy Poppy fields in Manipur. We request Shree @NBirenSingh and Shree @AmitShahOffice to make a public appeal to MOD to rid Manipur off poppy before they destroy another generation of Indian Children.

🔥MANIPUR : #Kashmir 2.0
4 months ago, all the anti national elements, “woke” people who suffer from hinduphobia, the left liberal academicians, politicians and media began actively engaging in spreading disinformation and fake narratives about #Manipur.
4 months ago, I was apolitical, wasn’t on twitter and had no idea about these fake news peddlers.
4 months ago, Meitei Hindus were ethnically cleansed from xtian #ChinKuki dominant areas. The genocide was carried out by #ChinKukiMilitants and it was allowed to happen openly by officials who were in cahoots with these militants since a long time.
Otherwise, how did the violence escalate to the level of Meiteis being completely ethnically cleansed from multiple areas in this century?
When the Genocide of #Kashmiri pandits happened, great care was taken to ensure that it was not seen as a Muslim vs Hindu issue even though that was exactly what it was.
The same is being done in Manipur. While xtian #ChinKukiZo who are mostly #ILLEGALimmigrants kept reaching out to foreign media, missionaries and evangelists who SCREAMED all around the world that xtians are being killed off in India and churches are being destroyed by hindus, in #India, they vehemently oppose this and pass it off as “ethnic conflict”.
Years ago, the left liberal media and politicians always made sure that the rest of India saw the Kashmir killings and exodus as attacks on ‘Pandits’, not ‘Hindus’. The same is happening in #Manipur. It’s the #Meiteis , not hindus and worse still, the #Meitei are being portrayed as the aggressors when they are the real victims.
Like the Kashmiri #Hindus, Meitei hindus excel at academics and white collar jobs, as opposed to the kukis who have a history of violence with every other community they have lived with. #Manipur is considered the sports factory of India due to a huge number of Meiteis representing India around the world in major events. We have also carved our name in the field of science , arts and culture.
The latest Chandrayan Mission had 4 Meitei scientists working in ISRO to make India proud!
Like Kashmir, the geographical location of Manipur is considered remote. Many people had not heard or seen Manipur before this crisis. For those who do not know, we are the last pocket of Hindus in the extreme border region of #India. We have protected our Identity for centuries and lived in harmony with around 33 tribes (xtian) and other communities like the Punjabis, Tamilians, Biharis, Gorkhas, Bengalis etc. We never imposed our religious practices on anyone while our temples, our culture was incessantly attacked.
As a person who has never spoken about religion before and do not carry the burden of phobia you have against us. I declare, that we are sick of the fake narratives and #Hinduphobic agenda driven machinery .
#ApologiseToHindus .
We have had enough!

Ch Enoni, a 22-year-old from #Manipur’s Senapati district, has achieved a significant milestone by becoming the first #woman from the Mao Naga community to join the #IndianArmy as an #officer in the general category.
She was one of the 36 women cadets among the 161 who were officially commissioned into various arms and services of the Indian Army from the Officers Training Academy (OTA) in #Chennai.
Enoni, inspired by her father's service in the Assam Rifles, embarked on this journey despite facing language barriers.
Her determination and dedication allowed her to overcome these challenges during the 11 months of intensive training, demonstrating her resilience and commitment to her new role in the Indian Army.

The Editors Guilds of India, #shamelessly attempt to communalised and paint the Kukis as victims on the #Manipur govt #WarOnDrugs campaign
The reports writes :
“ Yet another layer to the complex issue was Biren Singh’s so-called “war on drugs”. In this the Kuki-Zos were painted as villains who indulged in illegal poppy cultivation in the Hills. Manipur borders Myanmar and is a major route for drug smuggling through its border town of Moreh”

#Truth :
Nobody called the whole community as poppy cultivators. There may be some individual or isolated cases but it would be ‘wrong’ and #unprofessional to count it as a mindset of the whole community.
But it is an undeniable fact that
***75 to 80 per cent of illegal poppy cultivation takes place in hill areas dominated by Kuki-Zo community***
Due to this, it is obvious, if not right, for people to feel anger for their involvement.
Large scale #deforestation is an associated issue with illegal poppy cultivation.
Another major issue is use of huge amount of urea and salts to make the hilly terrain suitable for poppy cultivation.
After a couple of harvest, this land becomes inarable, devoid of any soil nutrients.
The once rugged hilly terrain is covered with loose soil resulting in soil erosion, landslide, shift in weather and climatic condition, toxic chemicals flowing into the rivers reaching valley area where paddy farming is carried out.
Since rice is the staple food for Manipuris, every individual in the state are consuming this toxic chemicals absorbed by the crops.
One can only imagine the rising number of cancer and other diseases in Manipur, which may have its link with the consumption of chemically induced crops.
Alarmed by the condition, Biren’s government put more focus on illegal poppy cultivation. During the course of destroying poppy plants, there were instances of poppy farmers threatening police personnel on duty and one rifleman of Manipur police department’s VDF unit was also abducted and killed by poppy planters.
Despite all these reasons, the War on Drug campaign of the Biren government was not implemented in the interest of Meetei community but in the larger interest for the whole state.
***It would be wrong to bring in Meetei community into this issue or wrong for Kuki-Zo community to blame Meetei for the crackdown on illegal poppy cultivation***

Have written a letter appealing to all Legislators to join and unite hands. There should be a Manipur where there are equal laws, thus an equal land law for every section of the society. The Manipur Land Revenue and Land Reforms Act 1960, enacted by Parliament needs to be amended. It was my late father Shri RK Jaichandra Singh, who as Chief Minister moved to amend this for an equal land law for every section of the society. He was unsuccessful as the majority legislators including the ones from the valley were not united. As CM, he had met all tribal village leaders from the hills to explain the benefits of having MLR and LR Act extended in the whole State, to which many had agreed then. This will also be helpful in identifying and protecting illegal settlement in the Hills by Illegal Migrants. I am hopeful that all the present legislators in the State will be united in bringing the change in the land law, to extend the Act in the whole State which will enable the Parliament and Central Government to amend this Act.
#Manipur: In a significant development within the Manipur Legislative Assembly, #BJP MLA Rajkumar Imo Singh, representing #Sagolband, has penned an impassioned letter to his fellow legislators. The letter, dated September 10, 2023, addresses the long-standing issue of #land ownership and inequality between the valley and hill areas of Manipur. Singh's call to action, where he seeks #unity among the members of the #ManipurLegislativeAssembly to amend the #ManipurLandRevenue and #LandReformsAct, making it applicable to the entire state. He argues that this move will benefit all #indigenous people and protect against #illegal settlements while ensuring proper revenue records for the state. #LandOwnership #LandLaws
