You can see the satellite tracking a point on Earth as it is passing overhead, as well as some wobble in attitude when it first rotates.
Yesterday I switched the X-band kit over to LHCP. First satellite I tracked was FY3D .. and .. it looked as miserable as FY3F on RHCP; the exact same signal behaviour over elevation. So, this AM my first pretty succesfull FY3F pass. Mea culpa for not believing in it. Small crop.

Now it’s time to compare my RF signal generators:
MoRFeus, ERASynth Micro, tinySA Ultra’s signal gen mode, GenComm GC747A, and SignalHound VSG60A. First, I measure THD (total harmonic distortion) at 1GHZ on 0dBm and -20dBm output.
I use SignalHound BB60D for measurements.
