ONE DAY, THE WORLD WILL WAKE UP, BUT YOU WON'T…

Imagine that day: You are lying down, but not on your soft mattress. Instead, you are in the terrifying darkness of a grave. This is the reality everyone tries to avoid, yet it is a fate that awaits us all.

Here is what that journey will truly look like:

1. From Your Bed to a Hot, Dark Grave:

One day, your sleeping place will change. All the shoes you have collected and the cars you proudly own will not accompany you. Good deeds and sincere belief in the Oneness of Allah (Tawheed) will be your only true companions.

2. The Tears of Your Loved Ones Will Not Help You:

You will be surrounded by people crying over your body, but you will no longer be able to say, "Thank you" or "Please be quiet." At that moment, all the noise of the world will come to an end for you. You will be left alone with the true consequences of what you did in this life.

3. Your Loved Ones Will Continue With Their Lives:

This is a reality that few people will tell you. The friends you spend time chatting with and wasting your time with may mourn you for just a few days before returning to their daily routines. The phone you are so attached to today will be inherited by someone else. You alone will depart for a place where no one can accompany you.

4. Tawheed Is Your Light:

In the darkness of the grave, neither your beauty nor your eloquence will save you. Your love for Allah and your commitment to La ilaha illallah (There is no god worthy of worship except Allah) are what truly matter. If you remain steadfast in Tawheed, death is not something to fear; it is a gateway to meeting the Beloved.

5. Happiness Amid Tears:

Our greatest hope is this: On the day people shed tears over your body, may you be smiling with joy as you witness the reward for the patience and perseverance you demonstrated throughout your life.

O Allah, on the day people gather around our bodies and weep, grant us the joy of smiling. Let our final words be the Shahada, and bless us with Husnul Khatima (a good ending to our lives). Ameen! 🤲
