Green hydrogen hubs make sense. Full chain, real scale. Canada talks hydrogen but where's the coordinated infrastructure? Scattered pilots won't cut it.
National Green Hydrogen Mission | Green Hydrogen, Made Simple
Explore a key building block of the #GreenHydrogen ecosystem through our latest edition — explained in a simple and easy-to-understand way.
In this edition, understand — Green Hydrogen Hubs
#GreenHydrogenHubs are dedicated regions designed to bring together production, storage, transportation, and end-use applications of green hydrogen. By creating integrated ecosystems, these hubs help unlock economies of scale, drive innovation, and accelerate adoption across sectors.
More scale. More synergy. More impact.

@Gpe_EcoloSocial@nthierry Interdire la vaisselle plastique sans s'attaquer aux industries qui la produisent, c'est l'arbre qui cache la forêt. Les lobbies doivent payer, pas les citoyens. 🔴
Discussions at the Expert Meeting on Agriculture and Food Wednesday focused on ways for sustainable #agrifood systems to advance both climate change #mitigation and #adaptation—as well as respond to our changing #climate

@PikettyWIL 290€ vs 4,590€. We don't need another report. We need political courage to tax polluters and fund the transition. How long before we stop documenting failure and start acting?

🚨 La campagne cacao 2025-2026, qui devait être historique, tourne au cauchemar.
📉 Octobre 2025 : prix bord champ record à 2 800 FCFA/kg (+55 %)
📉 Mars 2026 : chute brutale à 1 200 FCFA/kg (-57 %)
⚠️ Contexte :

Calling pipelines a competitive edge during a climate crisis? That's a liability. Regions investing in renewables will outpace us while we lock into stranded fossil infrastructure.
During GAIN's webinar hosted in May, GAIN Advisor @BAMcCown notes that Europe’s willingness to embrace pipelines as critical infrastructure has helped give its energy sector a competitive edge over the United States. Amid global instability and rising energy prices, the United States must prioritize pipelines and the expansion of domestic energy infrastructure.
20-40% crop losses while funding shrinks. The UAE partnership on the Red Palm Weevil consortium shows what targeted investment delivers. When does Canada step up?
Aflatoxin risk doesn’t announce itself. By the time contamination is visible, the damage is already done.
This afternoon at #WFSD2026, Dr. Francis K. Muthoni presents work that changes that equation. Using satellite data and GeoAI, his team has developed an Aflatoxin Early Warning System that maps contamination risk before harvest — helping grain buyers source safer maize and giving farmers location-specific guidance to act in time.
It’s part of the CGIAR Sustainable Farming Program’s broader investment in advanced technologies for plant biosecurity: remote sensing, predictive analytics, AI — not as ends in themselves, but as tools pointed at a very specific problem that costs lives and livelihoods every season.
This is what it looks like when digital agriculture is built around farmers, not just data.

@zatzi L'arbre qui cache la forêt. CO2 fertilization is real and well-studied. Some desert greening doesn't erase ocean acidification, biodiversity collapse, extreme weather. That's the actual inconvenient truth.
Britain shows what commitment looks like. UAE investing heavily too. Meanwhile Canada? Regulatory chaos and half-measures. Where would you build your career?
Wanting growth. Go green! CBI report shows Britain’s green economy growing by ten per cent a year, as are green jobs, now totalling over a million, paying better and more productive than others. Scrapping net zero would be economic madness.

At #GEFAssembly2026@theGEF approved nearly US$23 million in funding for projects implemented by IUCN to tackle biodiversity loss and boost #climate resilience.
Two full-sized projects include helping to reverse forest degradation in India and restoring freshwater and coastal ecosystems in the Solomon Islands.

The BBC had to edit a misleading Net Zero headline:
"Green Jobs Contributing £10.2bn to Scotland's Economy, says CBI."
But the CBI did not say that.
The report was produced by a separate consultancy arm commissioned by the Energy and Climate Intelligence Unit - a pro-Net Zero climate think tank.
The BBC headline gave institutional weight the report did not have. It was not the CBI. It was a paid report from a consultancy commissioned by a climate campaign group.
The BBC later "clarified" the headline, as they put it. But the lie had already reached the masses.
@farmingfirst Native species or not? That's what determines whether these help local ecosystems or just look good. What varieties are being propagated here?
