🚨 $ICP — THEY ATTACKED THE NETWORK… AND PAID THE NETWORK TO DO IT. ☁️♾️
Look at that cycle-burn spike. 👀
During the reported attack on the Internet Computer, cycle consumption briefly exploded from roughly 40–50 BILLION cycles/sec to over 300 BILLION cycles/sec.
Based on the dashboard spike, approximately 550 ICP worth of cycles may have been consumed during that elevated period — roughly $1,300+ at an ICP price around $2.40.
Here is the beautiful part,
🔥 Computation on ICP costs cycles.
🔥 Cycles are created by converting ICP.
🔥 That ICP is BURNED.
🔥 Consumed cycles disappear permanently.
So whoever funded those attacking canisters wasn’t getting a free shot at the network.
They were PAYING FOR THE COMPUTE USED TO ATTACK IT. 😂
And the network?
♾️ KEPT RUNNING.
The attack failed to bring down the Internet Computer while simultaneously driving one of the most spectacular short-term cycle-burn spikes visible on the chart.
You wanted to attack $ICP.
You bought its computational fuel.
You burned it.
You stress-tested the network.
And the network survived.
THANK YOU FOR YOUR CONTRIBUTION. 😂🔥♾️
Important: ~550 ICP is an estimate derived from the visible duration and magnitude of the dashboard spike, not a confirmed accounting of cycles attributable specifically to the attackers. ICP’s protocol fixes 1 trillion cycles at 1 XDR, while ICP was trading around $2.40 on August 28.

NVIDIA just did $96.2B in quarterly revenue.
AI isn't slowing down. It's becoming infrastructure.
And that's exactly why I keep coming back to $WLD.
As AI agents, bots and synthetic identities multiply, knowing whether there's a real human behind an account becomes increasingly important.
@worldnetwork is building that proof-of-human layer for the AI era.
The AI economy needs compute.
It also needs trust.
Great breakdown of our long-term vision! 🤖
High-precision RTK data is the underlying infrastructure that will power community-owned autonomous drones, robotics, and smart machinery. 🛰️⚡
Ben Horowitz, co-founder of a16z, says an AI version of him could get on a Zoom and tell his finance team to wire $500 million:
"Oh my god, somebody's gonna go on a Zoom."
"It's gonna be AI me, and they're gonna tell my finance team to wire like, you know, $500 million."
"Don't believe anything from me unless it's got my cryptographic key on it, all that kind of thing."
"I knew these problems were coming. They're coming so fast now."
"First is just, are you a human or are you a bot?"
"I think everybody is going to really, really want to know that, be it social media, a dating app, a Zoom call... Am I talking to an actual human?"
Every company taking instructions on a call needs that control, and none of them can test whether the key or the human check works before the wire goes out.
P.S. Come hear Ben Horowitz open the AI Assurance and Governance Summit on October 1 at the Stanford Faculty Club.

This month, someone beat live video ID checks by wearing an AI face in real time.
Per Spain's National Police, a man in Murcia used deepfake software on video verification calls to impersonate more than 30 people and obtain their digital certificates. 38 attempts, reported August 12. He was caught only when the deepfake slipped for a single frame and his real face showed.
And it is scaling. Singapore logged 43 video fraud cases in January 2025. A year later, more than 1,200, per its Cyber Security Agency.
@worldnetwork takes a different route. You verify once, in person, at an Orb, and carry proof that you are a unique human. World describes it as a cryptographic match, not an AI guess that degrades as models improve.
World for Zoom, now in early access, brings that to a live @Zoom call, with a Verified Human badge when the faces line up.
$ORBS holds 301.9M $WLD, ~8% of the circulating supply, as of August 19.

$WLD Consolidation Before Expansion 👩💻
Worldcoin couldn't break $0.45 on the first try and is now consolidating above $0.36, reloading for another push.
AI agents, bots, and synthetic accounts are taking over the internet, so proof-of-human is no longer optional.
World ID is already solving this problem, with 18M+ verified humans. Zoom, Tinder, Okta, and Vercel are all paying in #WLD to use it.
Technology this critical does not remain undervalued for long.
Mid-term targets:
🎯 $0.66
🎯 $1.00
🎯 $1.40

WSX Breaking🔥: @peaq is bringing a new privacy-focused identity layer to the machine economy through its integration of World ID from @worldnetwork.
The system enables humans to prove their personhood without exposing biometric information, using zero-knowledge proofs for privacy-preserving verification.
This could support high-security applications where robots and machines need to confirm that an authorized human is behind a task, including sensitive services such as medication access.
With millions of verified users across the globe, the integration could give DePIN ecosystems a stronger foundation for trusted human-machine coordination.
World ID gets a lot more interesting in an agentic world.
When thousands of machines can act on your behalf, the scarce thing isn’t intelligence, it’s proof of human intent.
Proving a real person authorized an action, without revealing their identity, could become a core layer of the internet.
- World ID is proof of human.
- $WLD powers the network.
- $ORBS holds ~ 8.4% of circulating supply of $WLD
Drone delivery expanding to 500 cities is massive! 🚁📦
The biggest key to scaling safely? Dropping packages exactly where they belong—not on roofs, trees, or in pools.
That’s why we built the world’s largest precision location network, giving autonomous drones centimeter-level accuracy for every single drop. 🎯
peaqOS brings @worldnetwork's World ID to robots and machines
A machine can now check two things about the person in front of it: is it a real human, and the one who actually placed the order?
Nothing else is revealed. No name, no face, no ID. Free to verify.
→ peaqOS provides identity, discovery, and coordination
→ World ID proves the human, without revealing who they are
