@AdamMaida15 I agree it moved so fast. I felt like I found myself lost a lot. There wasn't much detail which made it harder. Although long novels are hard to read, the detail really adds to the story and ties it all together in a more understanding way. #fys03xu
@AdamMaida15 Yeah, I think it may have been better if they didn't just come out and kill everyone right in the beginning. It was way too soon and I don't understand how Binti could see them in a way that was not murder. They were the evil ones, Binti was nothing but nice. #fys03xu
@SolinskyKatie I think I kind of imagine this university that is full of genuises. It's clear that all the people love math and science. This gives me the idea that the university is big on science and math genuises. #fys03xu
@carleyryan45 I definitely think that this book took a turn so fast since it is so short, I think everything just moves that much faster. It's weird because one second everything is fine and the next everyone is dead. #fys03xu
@AdamMaida15 Yeah, I am not really used to seeing films like this one, so it kind of took me by surprise, but it was good. I am excited to see where this book takes us through the science fiction world of Afrofuturism. #fys03xY
@YungerAlex I thought it was cool that she opened and close with excerpts from her book. This shows how she incorporates the Nigerian heritage into science fiction, how science fiction can come in many different forms #fys03xu
@Lauren_Briggs28 Exactly, it is weird because we have assumptions about people from other places around the world and they all have assumptions of us as Americans. #fys03xu
@AdamMaida15 I think Nick kind of acted selfishly here because it seems like he only went to Cah with what he wanted. I am proud of Cath for standing up and saying no to being a co-author (even to putting her name first). #fys03xu
@ava35337179 I think her friends understood what he had done to Cath in terms of taking her ideas, writing, and trying to take credit for it. Her friendships definitely grew as her friends stood up for her #fys03xu
@MeganLa28764303#fys03xu I feel like Reagan is too laid back for it to really impact her anymore. I think she knows that she wasn't in a good place to be with Levi and that he deserves a girl who makes him better like Cath does. I hope Cath can get past who Levi was and focus on who he is now.
@carleyryan45#fys03xu I'm glad that Cath has made the decisions that she has made. Although it was hard for her to decide to try out things with Levi and to go back to school, I think that she will learn a lot more about herself. I am excited to see if things with Levi continue to grow.
@carleyryan45 Cath and Levi! I saw it coming but I am questioning his character after the part incident:/ Maybe he will come to the realization that life would be better with Cath. But also Nick seems like such a cute genuine guy. I want to hear more about him.
@MeganLa28764303 So disappointed in Levi. I think Cath brings out the best in him which is so good but sad that he made the decision that he did. I also could've seen this coming and it makes me upset now that all that happened so fast.
@izzyAr23 I agree. I feel like she is starting to find her place in the college world. But I am also interested in seeing how all the issues with her mom and her sister will unfold. #fys03xu
@YungerAlex I agree there is a lot going on. I am excited to see what happens with Cath's mom, dad, Wren, Nick, and even Levi because I feel like Levi's actions towards Cath are starting to get to Reagan and their relationship. #fys03xu
@frambes_jack I love that we can all relate to this book already. I think it's a great book to read because what Cath is going through, we have all been through too. I am excited to see her grow throughout her time at college. #fys03xu
@izzyAr23 This is something I am hoping for too. I really do think they will develop a strong friendship. I think it is just awkward for Cath because she is so used to being around her sister all the time. #fys03xu
