@OC_Burma_Coy Early career it's was achieving things, passing courses, promoting etc. Later it's seeing subordinates do the same, especially those that I have helped in someway. That being said doing the Bismarck challenge then getting the commissioning results at the finish wasn't a bad day!

@ThreeUK spent hours trying to upgrade, everytime phone not avail and cost was much higher than suggested. The price has kept me for 15 years despite the awful signal and having to connect to wife's hotspot. Im off to EE for better signal and actually being able to get a phone

Update, 1800 got a call that heaters might be dropped off. 1900, heating engineer arrives to drop heaters off. Fixes boiler instead. Why couldn't we just be told someone would come out and not spend all day worrying and arranging to stay with family.

Hi @PinnacleSF we have no heating or hot water, to one can come out until Thursday and you have run out of electric heaters.
I have a 4 year old and a pregnant wife, what am I supposed to do?
It's currently -2 and going to -5 overnight

We have been waiting since March 23 to have 8 damaged windows replaced so house is cold at the best of times.

@The_RE_LE I was there at a similar time. I vividly remember the first time the Phlanx fired about 50m from our location. A new noise, we knew rockets, we knew mortars this knew noise scared the s@#t out of us. Once we knew what it was, it was a comfort rather than fear!

@PinnacleSF hey pinnacle, I've just had my assignment order for my next job. Still sat freezing with windows that had been planned to be replaced the week we moved in. Are you going to replace them the day we move out like you did last time? 4 years waiting for windows that work

Sarah was riding around Arromanches in a jeep after they managed to get the owners to let a 100 year old veteran in it. They then somehow convinced the RM to let the jeep go on to the landing craft and "recreate" the landing for the old boy.

I've dealt with both Craig and Jaymie who comment on here and they really do try and help us. The contractors are so poor it's down to Vivo

@PinnacleSF @APryorRGN @VINCI Yesterday is still insecure. Are you covering the insurance while mine us invalid due mine requiring my property to be suitably secured. Not that it matters as the leaks mean the garage contents are ruined and mouldy anyway.
