Josh’s plan was good because he told his group to not respond with violence or shots unless the white groups begin the fight because he made it clear to his men that some form of armed police will come and stop the riots. He is almost being the bigger person in the situation.
I felt heart broken for dr. Miller because his wife and kids could be anywhere and he has to deal with the unknown that is if they are dead or not. #TMOT33
When it says, “conscience, it has been said, makes cowards of us all.” on page 179 I think it means that when we have an idea our conscious makes us double guess ourselves making us not act out in a situation when we should. #TMOT32
I am still very confusedon the fact that Sam Merkell legally got married to Julia, and the weird thing was that Mr. Merkell was part of the older generation so you would think being married to an African American would be embracing, even if know one knew. #TMOT30
The fact that some white men are threatening African Americans with death after the publication of the article and African Americans can’t have any form of self defense is beyond unfair and is lacking ke giving them a death sentence. #tmot29
It is so hypocritical of the lynching mob on how they went from wanting to murder Sandy and watch him die to congratulating him on his freedom. They do this as if wanting to murder him was nothing. #TMOT27
#TMOT23 I definitely has some newfound respect for Mr. Delamere. He cares so much for Sandy even though Sandy's just his servant. This makes it surprising that Tom turned out to be an awful person
I found it so cute but almost sad when Mr. Delamere visited Sandy in jail and how Sandy reacted when Mr. Delamere came into his cell. I think it shows how Mr. Delamere probably still treated Sandy as someone lesser than him but still saw him as almost family. #TMOT24
Sandy being falsely accused of Aunt Polly’s murder reminds me of “To Kill a Mockingbird” when Tom Robinson was being accused of raping a white women mainly based off of the fact that he was African American. #TMOT22
I believe that sandy was falsely accused for the murder of aunt Polly. I think that Janet or Julia had to do something with the murder because they had a motive, they wanted the papers she was keeping. #TMOT21
