@dylanmatt Odd.. the disproportion of "admin" cost U.S. vs comparable is > higher < by far than that for "inpt / outpatient care" in the data you've chosen to present. & that's before splitting out administrative costs included in facility fees, deceptively included with provider cost
10/8: Evacuation FACT: Shelters are open in areas needing to evacuate for #Milton.
MYTH: You need to leave Florida to escape the storm.
Evacuate TODAY if you've been told to do so, are medically dependent on power or live in a home that can't withstand hurricane force winds.
When I did relief work after Katrina, we got mountains of donated clothes & other random stuff. With no one to process it & no way to distribute it, much of it ended up like this. Donate $$ instead so charities & individuals can buy what they need & support local economies.

Hundreds of Jewish students at @Columbia just published one of the most incredible student letters I have ever read.
It's not only magnificently written, but it also clearly articulates their experiences on campus for the past six months.
Their letter tells the story of what's it like being a Jewish student right now better than any professor like myself could ever do.
Please take 4-5 minutes to read their letter.
Give Jewish students a voice.
