#ManipurViolence : Not content with the butchering and brutalization of over 150 innocent minority lives of KukiZo, the radicalized Meitei's Organization Kangleipak Kanba Lup #KKL openly announced a reward of 1Lakh Rupees for capturing a #Kuki_Zo alive, intending to later behead and sacrifice the individual to their deity (Nungoibi Lallu) at Kangla during their cult rituals.

Living in a digital age , the superstitious belief the Meitei Community retain is quite comical and disturbing at the same time .

Manipur reels from shocking video: UNLF militants, posing as state police, attack Kuki-Zo village.

A video circulating online today has plunged Manipur into fresh turmoil. It allegedly shows heavily armed militants, dressed in #ManipurStatePolice uniforms, attacking the #Kuki_Zo village of Satang, Saikul in Kangpokpi District.

The militants openly identify themselves as the proscribed United National Liberation Front (#UNLF) and proudly display their dual emblems: the Manipur Police badge on one shoulder and the UNLF badge on the other.

This blatant impersonation of state forces raises crucial questions about the extent of UNLF infiltration and potential collusion with local authorities. The video fuels existing tensions and casts doubt on the recent peace deal signed between a faction of UNLF and the Indian government.

A popular Meitei Facebook page also claimed the attack was carried out in collaboration with Commandant Oinam Meitei of the 18 Assam Rifles. Another video reportedly from the same scene shows Korunganba, leader of the Meitei radical group #ArambaiTenggolMilitants, leading a large group of men, all dressed in police uniforms, towards the Saikul area.

These disturbing visuals demand immediate and thorough investigation. The Indian government must clarify its stance: are these attacks the work of a rogue UNLF faction or evidence of a deeper, coordinated operation involving state personnel and Meitei militants?

However, certain human rights, such as the right to life or the right to be free from torture, inhuman and degrading treatment can never be put aside. These are regarded as so important and so fundamental that they should be observed even when a state's security is at risk.

While the Imphal-based media and Manipur Home Department were silent on the looting of Arms at 1st Bn. MR Campus yesterday, it has been reported that at least 10 service weapons including AKM, INSAS, KT43, KP43 and AK 47 were snatched, and at least 3 CRPF personnel were injured in the process. It has also been reported that these armed miscreants destroyed the offices of IGP (Prisons), SP (Jail) and JCO and took away at least 7 vehicles.

The irony is-not even a single person has been arrested so far and no inquiry has been initiated. Manipur CM @NBirenSingh who is in-charge of the Home Department and the Manipur DGP have been silent/silenced. No press statement has been made and the Imphal-based media houses are blinded.

There are so many questions which needed to be answered.
