These statistics presented at #ASCO25 deserve more attention than they have gotten. They clarify the need to have more honest conversations about the percentage of pts with stage III NSCLC who actually reach the operating room after nCIO.
It is not 80%, as the phase III RCTs required operability confirmation before nCIO. It is closer to 50%, which, in my opinion, reflects unbridled enthusiasm for nCIO.

If CROs and academic centers would allow clinical trials activation and enrollment in the US to be modernized, the KRAS plenary would have been presented in #asco25 and we would have three more RAS trial readouts by today.

Highly impactful update from SERENA6. Very nice plateau in the PFS curves with longer follow up, and dramatic reduction in ctDNA and improvement in QoL which suggests deep benefit. Harder to interpret PFS2. Hoping to have this option available for our patients soon. #ASCO26
