Two independent studies reveal a HIF-2 → PTHrP axis driving cachexia & hypercalcemia in #ccRCC, independent of tumor burden.

• HIF-2 directly activates PTHLH → ↑PTHrP → hypercalcemia & weight loss
• #Belzutifan rapidly ↓PTHrP & normalizes calcium (within days)
• Effects occur before tumor shrinkage → true on-target endocrine biology
