I also have a Severe Progressive Myalgic Encephalomyelitis that followed that EBV outburst on June 17, 2001. And that #ME with PEMs has been getting "worser n worser"

He added " ...today" which didn't change the facts. He however diagnosed my WEAKNESS as "Functional Quadriplegia" which is one of the best things that happened to me since Dr Frederick M. sent me to twenty other specialists (he was my Oncologist and General) to diagnose me a few months after that June 17, 2001 with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome ONS (Otherwise Not Specified). My busy new doctor, almost running, renewed my prescription for Oxycodone 3x30mg/pd when he found out I was without for SEVEN YEARS. I will finish my rambling so: in my diary on that day of June 17, 2001 I described a "flu" with very low temperatures and wrote: "SOMETHING HORRIBLE IS HAPPENING WITH ME". That flu within a week or so was followed with a monstrous MONONUCLEOSIS for several months! In October 2001 after spending most of the two years in Doctors offices after BC surgeries chemotherapy and radiation after September 11 - I flee or flew to Central America following my wonderful Guide LET'S GO. New chapter in my life. Now I am too ill

Importante estudio que podría permitir diferenciar al subconjunto de pacientes con EM/SFC desarrollado por el EBV. Esto es importante, puesto que permite ver cómo la EM/SFC es un grupo heterogéneo donde diferentes patógenos pueden acabar desarrollando la enfermedad, desde el SARS-CoV-2 a diferentes virus como el EBV. Incluso podría permitir vincular los síntomas desarrollados en la esclerosis múltiple con los de la EM/SFC al compartir ambos 6 anticuerpos IgG contra distintos antígenos nucleares EBNA. Como bien indica el artículo este subgrupo, podría beneficiarse del 𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐱𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐛 para la mejora de los síntomas, pero no lograrían curarse porque este tratamiento no eliminan todas las células con latencia de EBV.
Es importante señalar que si se están detectando estos anticuerpos contra antígenos EBNA (EBNA1_0005, EBNA3_0577, EBNA4_0566, EBNA6_0025, EBNA6_0488, EBNA6_0752), eso sugiere que estos péptidos están interactuando con el sistema inmunológico a través de la presentación en HLA-II. Esto no debería ser así, debido que los antígenos EBNAs son antígenos nucleares y, por tanto, deberían ser presentados en HLA-I. Pero estos antígenos evaden la presentación en HLA-I y lo hacen en HLA-II, con el peligro que conlleva que sean procesados y presentados como nuevos antígenos al realizarles una serie de modificaciones por esta vía, aumentando el riesgo de generar enfermedades autoinmunes. La generación de anticuerpos generalmente está asociada con la interacción de antígenos con células B y células T CD4 , y esta interacción implica la presentación de antígenos en HLA-II. Por tanto, vemos aquí de nuevo un vínculo en tener unos alelos HLA-II débiles contra el EBV que impidan una presentación optima de estos antígenos EBV, aumentando el riesgo de un control deficiente de las células con latencia de EBV. Por ello, 𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐞 𝐬𝐮𝐛𝐠𝐫𝐮𝐩𝐨 𝐝𝐞 𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐬 𝐜𝐨𝐧 𝐄𝐌/𝐒𝐅𝐂 𝐜𝐨𝐧 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐛𝐥𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐬 𝐜𝐨𝐧 𝐞𝐥 𝐄𝐁𝐕 𝐲 𝐜𝐨𝐧 𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐯𝐚𝐜𝐢𝐨́𝐧 𝐝𝐞 𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐮𝐞𝐫𝐩𝐨𝐬 𝐄𝐁𝐍𝐀, 𝐭𝐚𝐦𝐛𝐢𝐞́𝐧 𝐩𝐨𝐝𝐫𝐢́𝐚𝐧 𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫 𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐬 𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐬 𝐝𝐞́𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐞𝐬 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐚 𝐞𝐥 𝐄𝐁𝐕. 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐨́𝐧: los próximos estudios que quieran diferenciar el subgrupo de EM/SFC con origen de EBV deberían usar estos anticuerpos junto a alelos HLA-II. Esto permitirá identificar a este grupo y sacarlo del grupo heterogéneo de la EM/SFC que tiene distintos patógenos causantes. Incluso se podría denominar de otra manera para identificar el patógeno causante de este subgrupo, como por ejemplo, “𝐋𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐄𝐁𝐕”.

(5) Zudem wird im einen Fall davon gesprochen, dass zu #Longcovid noch #MECFS "hinzukomme", während man in den bisherigen Fällen nie davon sprach, man hätte #LongEBV, #LongInfluenza etc. und es sei nun noch #MECFS "hinzugekommen". Auch dies befördert Fehlvorstellungen.
