Today, @tryprofound is excited to announce our $96M Series C at a $1B valuation, led by @lightspeedvp with participation from @sequoia, @kleinerperkins, @mattevantic, @saga_ventures and @southpkcommons.
When we started Profound 18 months ago, we had two fundamental beliefs about where marketing is heading:
1. Every company will care deeply about how AI talks about their brand.
2. Every marketer will use AI Agents to do their best work, faster.
Those beliefs are becoming reality faster than we imagined.
Now, we serve more than 10% of the Fortune 500 and are the number 1 leader on the G2 grid for AEO.
To double down on that momentum, we’re taking two big swings:
𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝗔𝗴𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀: AI workers that take marketing teams from concept to execution.
𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆: certifications and cohort-based learning for marketers who want stay at the forefront of AI marketing.

Today we’re launching @unifygtm for Sales Reps.
We don’t believe AI is going to replace people in GTM, we believe its going to make them 100x more effective 🧵
We are excited to share that we raised a $12M Series A to scale revenue teams' creativity.
It's been a busy few months preparing for this week. We raised this round so that we could accelerate our mission to be the best platform for revenue teams to have creative, thoughtful, and delightful interactions with customers.
As part of this announcement we introduced Unify 2.0, featuring Plays and AI Agents. You can now run any go-to-market play imaginable using signal data, AI, and automation, while maintaining control over the customer experience.
We are excited to share more about Plays and AI Agents soon. Here is a one minute demo of Unify:
It's been 48 hours since we announced @unifygtm's $12M Series A and reception has been WILD
So far we’ve seen:
1) $2 million of pipeline created
2) 500,000+ social impressions and thousands of engagements
3) 7 articles covering Unify
We spent 3 months preparing for this announcement. Here’s everything that went into it:
1) Unify 2.0 - Introducing Plays & AI Agents
Our Linear initiative for the fundraise announcement had 12 projects. Our product team spent many late nights thinking, planning and building Plays and AI Agents which are central to Unify 2.0. We released 2.0 at 12:30am and at 12:42am, one of our customers messaged us “This agents feature is 🔥”. There’s a link to our Product Hunt in the comments.
2) A New https://t.co/KXJtJJjjeX
We re-worked our whole website, and introduced new product pages, a high-quality demo video, and a new self-service product demo. Our new website reflects feedback from customers and prospects that they wanted more visibility into our product.
3) Linkedin & X Announcements
A fundraise announcement is a unique opportunity to create an echo chamber. Our whole team used this as an opportunity to share personal stories about why we’re excited to be building Unify. That plus organic shares from customers, investors, and our network amplified the effect.
4) Press Coverage from TechCrunch, Axios and more
Our Series A announcement was picked up in 7 total outlets, including TechCrunch and Axios. We’re grateful to be able to tell our story in these places.
5) Unify Happy Meals
On Tuesday night our SF and NYC teams spent hours packing Unify-branded happy meal boxes full of aprons and warm cookies. On Wednesday AM we shipped these out to prospects, customers and investors. Our goal was to delight people with an outside-the-box experience. And the reaction was *warm* (see the photo below)
Today I’m incredibly excited to announce Unify’s $12M Series A led by Emergence and Thrive with particpation from OpenAI.
We started Unify 631 days ago with the mission to be the best platform for revenue teams to power creative, thoughtful and delightful interactions with their customers.
Our core thesis is that the way revenue teams interact with data is broken.
Rich data valuable for revenue teams exists in many silos today and while the modern data stack promised to break down these silos, few teams are succeeding. Our data graph is the brain for AI to make human-quality decisions on top of.
We’ve quickly grown to 7-figures of annualized revenue, and have grown revenue 39x year-over-year.
A special thank you to some of our early customers…

taste, beauty, and design are underrated in building product today.
when i was an early product manager at @tryramp, vp of product @geoffintech made a comment that stuck with me. he said, "users love and appreciate the small delights in a product more than you're giving credit."
creating a product is easier than ever, but most products are friction-filled, clunky, and demonstrate no taste.
we care a lot about building beautiful, easy-to-use products at unify. that's why:
➝ we brought on the insanely talented @hyewonkimmm to lead brand and design. we wanted brand and design in-house from day 1.
➝ we hired @SolomonAstley as an early product engineering leader. he'd previously spent 4 years building beautiful user experiences at airbnb. he holds our bar for what we ship to customers insanely high.
➝ we brought on @diegozaks (vp of design at ramp) and @laurynmotamedi (head of product growth at notion) as advisors in the first couple months of the company. having experts to bounce ideas off of makes us better, faster.
we want to be tasteful in what we do, in hopes that users create an emotional connection to the product.
a product can, and should, resonate beyond its functionality.
Today is day 366 at Unify and it's go time.
We’re excited to announce we’ve raised $6.6M from OpenAI, Thrive and Emergence.
