🧬 Can tumor genomics be used to personalize radiation dose?
Grateful to present results from our phase II trial on dose de-escalated radiation therapy for ATM altered tumors at #ASCO2026
Great to see ☢️ #Radiation in the early-phase #PrecisionOncology space!
@DavidSherMD@EbnerMD Amen to that! This is worth getting to SOC. All we need is a blood biomarker or something other than FMISO so it can be applied widely @xrtGenomics , hurry up and come up with it! 🙃
Join MSK radiation oncologist Dr. Christopher Barker at #ASCO26 as he presents results from the phase II RAMPART trial evaluating response-adapted definitive radiotherapy and cemiplimab immunotherapy for locally advanced, unresectable cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma.

75% of patients received 30 Gy with FMISO PET based de-escalation for HPV-associated OPSCC. 30 Gy.
Need the randomized data but hard to believe this won’t be the way.
Incredible!
Wonderful to see @DrPaulNguyen at @ASCO with members of our research group 🤩
Thank you Dr Nguyen for your example and continued mentorship for so many!
Join MSK radiation oncologist Dr. Nancy Lee (@imrtlee) at #ASCO26 for a clinical science symposium on FMISO PET-guided radiation dose de-escalation in HPV-associated oropharyngeal cancer.

Today at #ASCO26: MSK radiation oncologist Dr. Nancy Lee (@imrtlee) shared long-term results showing that many patients with HPV-positive #oropharyngeal cancer were able to receive lower-dose radiation while maintaining durable outcomes and experiencing fewer side effects.
Now we have PARTIQoL and COMPPARE….message is quite clear as to if there is any benefit of protons for localized prostate cancer.

Thrilled to be at @ASCO with many members of our research team, Collaborative Oncology Research Group International (CORGI 🐕)
So proud of @MilitSPatel for THREE posters on #global#cancer systems today
More to come!
New findings from MSK researchers that will be presented at #ASCO26 this weekend found that carefully selected patients with HPV-positive #throatcancer can receive significantly less radiation while maintaining excellent outcomes.
An analysis of 430 patients showed a 97% five-year overall survival rate, even among patients who received less radiation. “This has been an absolute game-changer for treating certain people with throat cancers caused by HPV,” says MSK radiation oncologist @imrtlee. “The difference in toxicity is dramatic.” @ASCO

Many thanks to Prof. Patrick Sheahan (@SheahanPatrick) and the Head and Neck Society for the generous invitation to give a keynote at their 5th Annual Meeting.
Everything from the outstanding science to the amazing speakers and genuine multidisciplinary exchange to the beautiful venue (@LyrathEstate) could not have been better!
Among a list of many distinguished speakers and attendees, it was wonderful to get the chance to reconnect with colleagues who also happen to be true leaders in the field like Dr. Nancy Lee (@imrtlee), Dr. mark zafereo (@MarkZafereoMD), Prof. Andreas Dietz (@UKL_Leipzig), and Prof. Giovanni Succo as well as meet some really outstanding oncologists and leaders like Prof. Shreerang Bhide (@royalmarsdenNHS) and Dr. Terry Day (@SarahCannonDocs).
Thanks again and congratulations to Dr. Sheahan and the IHNS for an amazing meeting!

The authors of a new Perspective argue that clinicians are rightly expected to disclose their gaps in knowledge or their inability to forecast an outcome. Yet emerging AI tools often cannot, or will not, do the same.
