@klmralston@kbcamby I agree- I think if students are expected to articulate their thoughts through video they will be more intentional about clarifying their understanding #augustaedtech
@kbcamby A2: I like the idea of using @edpuzzle to provide questions alongside instruction so that students can articulate their thinking as they are receiving instruction #augustaedtech
@kbcamby A1: however, for record-keeping and access purposes, I think google docs/ slides would be great. You could have a brainstorm area for predictions, another for clarification, etc. As @FelinaMccoy suggested, @PearDeck has awesome premade slides that can be used for these purposes
@kbcamby A1: I think the value of this strategy is in the intentionality of the process. That's valuable in any discipline. I don't think tech is necessary here- a good, old fashioned group seating with pencil and paper would work! #augustaedtech
@NURSED_54 @Prudence_2015 @kbcamby I've used @ViewPure often since you showed it to us and it is great. You never know what ad or video will be next in line, and with teenagers (or students or kids in general) that could be dangerous...
@KatDerillo @DrMBEdmunds@JennHorneLD@faigin_laurie I love this! Reflection is so important. I'm transitioning from a gen math teacher (HS) to a new role as a SPED math with 4 coteachers. Reflection time during planning (or anytime) seems necessary for growth as partners in education
@fletchucator@kbcamby I also like @edpuzzle because it allows the teacher to combine self-paced instruction with high-quality questions. I will definitely be using this! #augustaedtech
@FelinaMccoy @TeachitRalph@kbcamby This is where instructional coaches or other support would be helpful in class. Having a second person to help facilitate and work out the issues
