@_mR_X@mweinbach@UniverseIce you also need to consider that there is a chance more customers of the Duo are affected and are not even within the internet space to report those issues.
@patrickawsomew@LeakerApple@techdroider point taken about Apple leaving it to devs to update the apps ASAP. But the thing is that Apple overpromised for day 1 of the Duo. Got on stage to tell everyone that it will be optimized out of the box and then the public seeing these reviews will surely cast different opinions.
@kysbalion@IntCyberDigest how exactly are these people going to regret buying into the reviews that show the current "true" state of a phone with a base price of $2k?
Yes, the issues will get fixed with time but Apple should have been proactive and not come on stage to say overpromise on day 1.
@LeakerApple@techdroider Apple fans are actually dishonest. This wouldn't be what you'll say if it was to be Samsung, Huawei, Oppo or any other OEM running Android. But since it is Apple, then it is fine to have it "...not optimised yet..."
@inyourshitpal@techdroider it is interesting how if an Android app doesn't work well on an Android foldable, then Google and the entire Android platform takes the blame—not the dev. If an app doesn't work well on iPhone Duo, then it is the fault of the dev.
@ruima almost as if those used to SF style aesthetics design are trying to get angry on behalf of over 1.4b Chinese people that are comfortable with the way their design system is and instead are more interested in both efficiency and the experience these apps offer.
@LChenlz man, Apple fans reduced this coy to "best in smooth animation" cos that's pretty much the only thing they have managed to give props to concerning the Duo. Nothing else; just smooth animation. Apple and the fans deserve each other.
@Jonathan_Blow@hoytehablode@cppig1995@videolan then why not just switch to the coys that will charge you for their products instead of stressing yourself this much? This should be the logic here, right?
