@skydrama Yea this isn’t something I can put any recent memory analogs to. I just recall a lot of southeast events with shear like this that end up being a huge QLCS, albeit with a few supercells initially and maybe ahead. QLCS still capable of significant tornadoes.
Have to disagree. Excellence is subjective. Zero metering isn’t always excellence, in fact I’d argue finding the storm everyone else ignores is excellence. Beat the crowd.
Having a 7 figure following isn’t reasonable nor is it desired by everyone. I could use without getting doxxed every day of my life.
If your definition of excellence in body standards is anything but what you are then you’re setting yourself up for failure off the bat and this makes it sound much worse.
6 figure incomes aren’t standard. When I met my wife I was making $11/hr and working my ass off 100+ hours a week to make it work for us and what became our family. Due to hard work, some luck, and lots of reliance on each other we achieved that 6 figure income together.
Excellence is subjective. If you take the same path everyone else does, then yea it takes a lot to stand out. Carve your own path and you make your own excellence in your own way.
Here’s an analogy we can go back to. You don’t need to zero meter if you’re the only one on it.

@btsullivan91 You might have been the only one to play that perfectly to see both. It’s been a while since Oklahoma has had such a classic day like this. Probably since 2016. Holy shit man.

Gambling or not, it does not fall under state jurisdiction as it is a fundamentally different product. The states are upset because they aren’t getting a slice of the pie. The tribes are upset because their monopoly in specific areas to farm money is being trimmed. The sports books are paying billions in lobbying to dumb people down. All of these are trying to destroy PMs together and consistently lose in court. People are waking up and realizing PMs are the better product because they don’t prefer you to lose.
This traditional gambling industry as a whole does not like innovation. They want the old way where people lose to pad the pockets of bookies, the government, and the tribal leaders.
Call it gambling, call it betting, call it trading, whatever. Prediction markets are the better product in sports betting.
Aside from sports betting entirely, prediction markets are legitimate useful tools to forecast everything from elections, economic changes, scientific advancement, and countless other categories. The fact that there are so many people out there blind to that because they can’t get over the sports aspect of it is insane.
This would be a great way to track inflation, jobs data as a whole, and just earnings in general. I would also go outside the box and say you could track the monthly tornado market like this to see monthly trends versus average, the arctic ice extent, the monthly rain markets, SpaceX launches, AI growth and capability. Just a few I think that would be interesting to track market sentiment over time and be useful in verifying market data versus observed changes in climate factors.
@F1966Neil@SeanPMaloney@PredictAction Definitely not, you’re just bad at weather. It really is that simple, and it isn’t a conspiracy because YOU lost lol
