@Noel34309315 @Clayton33383423 Hi Noel! Yes, I upgraded a few months ago. In my opinion, it is worth it just to add some variety to the types of questions that you can add to your Kahoot. #wuedt6020
@Laura55043167 Hi Laura! I just started using Gimkit and have been finding it very useful. I have not had a chance to use Blooket but I do hear great things about it! I am definitely going to check it out. #wuedt6020
@Clayton33383423 Hi Clayton! My students and I LOVE Kahoot! The library has such a wide variety of subjects that you can use with your class. I would agree that the site is extremely user friendly. #wuedt6020
@Ashley_Wilmu Hi Ashley! I also teach 3rd grade and my students love Jamboard as well. We just did a virtual Valentine's Day activity last week that they loved! #wuedt6020
@TangyCordrey Yes! My students really enjoy using FlipGrid as well. They enjoy all of the filters and being able to take selfies. It is a great tool to use with students who are strictly virtual so I can hear them read aloud. #wuedt6020
@farnan_sherri Wow! That sounds like a great tool to use for assessment. I love the ability to change the amount of time given to answer each question. I will definitely check it out! #wuedt6020
@MaryLonergan20 I have seen something similar to that at my school. That seems like a really creative way to adapt games or books so they are accessible to all learners. I will have to check it out! Do you have to use a template each time? #wuedt6020
@farnan_sherri I love using Jamboards with my 3rd graders. They are so versatile and can be used for a variety of purposes. For example, last week, we used them to create virtual valentines for each student. What do you use Quizziz for in your classroom? #wuedt6020
@AshleyDills1 Hi Ashley! I have been using FlipGrid a lot to be able to hear my virtual students read aloud. Due to the fact that they have to remain muted during our reading lesson, I never get a chance to read with them 1-on-1. #wuedt6020
@MaryLonergan20@McCoolWILMu Hi Mary!
This is such great advice! It can be tempting to try out a new program without being familiar and then you end up losing instructional time trying to navigate through the application and it's features. #wuedt6020
@PoliteTommie@McCoolWILMu Hi Tommie!
I agree it was very humbling as an experienced teacher to feel as though I had no idea what I was doing in the beginning of the year. I was relatively unfamiliar with some of the new programs and had to ask a LOT of questions. #wuedt6020
@hyperteacher93@McCoolWILMu Hi Stephanie! I also have several students who do not like to have their cameras on. It can be very difficult to see who is engaged and present. Peardeck is a great idea to encourage participation! Have you used Nearpod? #wuedt6020
@NatalieTucci2 Hi Natalie! I have also found breakout rooms to be very helpful when using differentiated instruction. Students can feel more comfortable working in a small-group or asking questions if they are unsure about a concept. #wuedt6020
