When we started investing in crypto back in 2016, the industry was raw, deeply philosophical, and full of wonderful experiments and rebellious folks unified through a deep sense of purpose and ambition.

There has been a lot of success. ETFs are approved. Institutions are here. Finance is fully moving on-chain. The technology has matured. But somewhere along the way, the dream shrank. Crypto is more than currencies and financialization. There is no reason at all that crypto shouldn’t be the fabric to protect individual sovereignty, to fix the internet, to coordinate infrastructure at unmatched scale, and to provide a secure, trustless foundation for the next agent-dominated age of the Web.

So @privy_io, @AmbushCapital and BlueYard are calling a timeout.

On June 10th we are gathering 100 of the most serious founders, builders, and OGs in New York. No stages, no panels. Just honest debates and a bias toward action to rekindle the chaotic, cyberpunk, world-eating ambition that got us here in the first place. More details to follow.
